How to change the SMS ringtone in Android phone?

Permission is required for replacement.

I want to use my own ringtone as follows:

Create a new notification folder in the SD card.

Then move the ringtone you want to use to this folder and restart the phone.

Then press the function key in SMS-Settings-Select ringtone (bottom)-Android-(just select your ringtone).
