2. Activity process

(1) Publicity and mobilization: Promote the significance of the activity and mobilize students to actively prepare and participate.

Two weeks before the event, students should be informed: What kind of event we are going to hold and how to organize the event. Mobilize everyone to actively prepare.

This preparation process itself is of great significance. In this process, the first purpose of the activity was naturally achieved.

In order to ensure that the activity goes smoothly, teachers should formulate detailed and feasible activity plans in advance and inform students in advance.

1. Activity preparation

1) Divide the whole class into four groups, with a group leader for each group. The group leader is responsible for numbering the members of the group from 1 to 14. The numbering results should be made in duplicate, one copy should be handed over to the teacher, and the other copy should be kept by the team leader.

2) The teacher is responsible for setting the questions. Select 60 poems from the 63 poems in the Jiangsu Education Edition of "Selected Readings of Tang Poems and Song Ci" and write them on 60 small cardboards. 2. Competition organization method

At the beginning of the competition, the four team leaders came on stage to freely draw questions from 60 cardboards. And hand the drawn questions to the students who want to answer the questions. For example, if the question drawn by the team leader is to be recited by student No. 1, the question will be given to student No. 1. After student No. 1 gets the question board, he should read the question first, that is, let everyone know the title of the poem or word you want to memorize, and then recite the poem or word. After student No. 1 recited the questions, the judges gave points promptly, and he received 10 points for all correct answers. On the premise of memorizing it, if there are any individual mistakes, one point will be deducted for each mistake until all points are deducted. If student No. 1 fails to recite it, within the specified time (20 seconds of waiting), a student in the group will recite it for him, and the group will score 5 points; otherwise, the score will be 0 points.

For the sake of fairness, the order of recitation for each group can be arranged like this. When reciting the first group of questions, follow the order of one group, two groups, three groups, and four groups; when reciting the second group of questions, follow the order of two groups, three groups, four groups, and one group; when reciting the third group of questions, , follow the order of three groups, four groups, one group, and two groups; when reciting the fourth group of questions, follow the order of four groups, one group, two groups, and three groups; and so on for the rest.

3. Scoring and scoring.

The judges will give scores orally as required, and the scorekeeper will record the average score of the two judges. In order to ensure the accuracy of the records, the two scorers can distribute the tasks equally. C records the scores of the first and second groups, and D records the scores of the third and fourth groups.

5. The activity is planned to last 45 minutes.

(1) Organize competitions.

3. Number all students so that everyone can participate. According to the size of the class, it is appropriately divided into several activity groups. The class I teach has 56 people, which can be divided into four groups.

4. Ensure the fairness of the activity. Fairness is the basis for everyone’s active participation. Otherwise, the meaning of the activity will be lost.

5. If you have enough time, you can change the number of each group of questions (that is, the questions originally answered by student No. 1 can be changed to be answered by student No. 2, and so on) and continue the competition.

This activity achieved very good results.

1) First of all, the fun of the activity attracted everyone. The students were very enthusiastic and fully prepared in advance. During the competition, they were highly motivated. Even students who do not like to study on weekdays were able to recite the words. The questions received exceeded the expected results.
