How to punish smoking in public places?

Smoking in places where smoking is prohibited or while waiting in line, the municipal or district/county health and family planning administrative department shall order it to make corrections, and may impose a fine on 50 yuan. If it is littering cigarette butts, it will be punished by the comprehensive law enforcement department of urban management in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations on city appearance and environmental management. The Law on Smoking Punishment in Public Places stipulates that anyone who smokes in a place with fire or explosion danger shall be given a warning or fined below 500 yuan; If the circumstances are serious, they shall be detained for not more than five days. Smoking in no-smoking places does not listen to dissuasion, which constitutes a violation of public security management, such as disturbing social order or preventing relevant departments from performing their duties according to law, and shall be punished by the public security department according to law; If a crime is constituted, criminal responsibility shall be investigated according to law. Individuals shall abide by the provisions of laws and regulations and shall not smoke in places where smoking is prohibited or while waiting in line; Smoking in non-smoking places should reasonably avoid non-smokers, and don't throw cigarette butts everywhere.

Article 7

Inspectors shall stop smokers in public places where smoking is prohibited in their own units and may impose a fine of ten yuan. When making a decision on administrative punishment for smokers, the inspectors shall show the law enforcement identity documents uniformly printed by the Municipal People's Government to the parties, fill in the written decision on administrative punishment in a predetermined format and number, and deliver it to the parties on the spot.
