1, check the air conditioner

The common reason why air conditioners are not cooled is that there is not enough refrigerant. Whether the refrigerant is sufficient can be seen through the observation hole on the drying tank, and experienced repairmen can judge whether the air conditioner needs to replenish refrigerant from the flow of bubbles. If you find that the air conditioner is short of refrigerant, don't rush to replenish it. You should check whether there is any refrigerant leakage first. According to experience, more than 80% faults of air conditioning system are caused by refrigerant leakage.

Tip: In order to prevent the epidemic of infectious diseases in summer, air conditioners should be disinfected regularly, usually once a week.

Step 2 check the tires

Tires must be checked, and if the pattern is worn, new tires must be replaced. In summer, the air pressure in the tire will increase with the increase of temperature, which will often lead to tire puncture, and speeding, overloading or emergency braking will easily lead to tire puncture. Therefore, the tire pressure can be reduced appropriately, or helium gas with more stable physical properties and less expansion can be filled into the tire.

If the tire temperature is too high during long-distance driving, park the vehicle in the shade to cool down. Never pour cold water on the tire to cool it down, otherwise it is easy to tear the tire layer because of the temperature difference. In addition, deflation cannot be used to reduce the temperature and pressure, otherwise the tire temperature and pressure will continue to rise.

Tip: Cars should be equipped with effective fire-fighting equipment. Keep the specified tire pressure. When it is hot, especially when it is extremely hot at noon, the vehicle should slow down.

3. Fuel system

Because of the high temperature, gasoline is easy to evaporate, resulting in an increase in the concentration of mixed gas. Therefore, the oil supply hole can be properly adjusted, or the oil level height of the float chamber can be reduced accordingly.

It is pointed out that due to the temperature difference between day and night in summer, the fuel system of gasoline engine is prone to air resistance, which leads to insufficient or even interruption of fuel supply. In order to prevent air resistance, the gasoline pump can be separated from the exhaust pipe with asbestos pad, or the gasoline pump can be wrapped with wet cloth to cool down.

4. Driving time

In hot summer, you should try to avoid driving for a long time. Pay attention to rest in time when driving. When parking, you should try to choose a cool and ventilated place, and you can also open the hood to ventilate and dissipate heat if possible. If the pointer of the thermometer has pointed to the near-high temperature area, then the engine must be stopped to "cool down" and the engine will gradually cool down. If necessary, you can also pour cold water on the radiator, and be careful not to wet the line.
