Each middle school:

According to the National Junior High School Applied Physics Knowledge Competition Committee [2012] No. 01 document and the relevant notice requirements of Shaoguan City Physics Teaching and Research Association, after research, it was decided that junior high school students in our county will participate in the 20th The third (2013) National Junior High School Applied Physics Knowledge Competition. The relevant matters are now notified as follows:

1. Purpose and principles of the competition

1. The competition is open to junior high school students to stimulate students’ interest in learning science, expand students’ horizons, and promote the development of science in middle schools. The connection between physics teaching and technology, society and life can better implement the teaching objectives of basic physics education and effectively improve students' scientific and cultural literacy in an all-round way.

2. The competition is conducive to the improvement of teaching and education quality, the growth of students' scientific knowledge and physical and mental health, and does not increase the burden on students and teachers. This competition is organized voluntarily by each school, and students voluntarily participate. As a matter of principle, no fees may be charged in any form.

2. Content of the competition

Based on the junior high school physics curriculum standards, it embodies the educational philosophy of the curriculum standards, expands the physics knowledge learned through the application of knowledge, and focuses on student application. The ability of physics knowledge and innovation ability, emphasizing the connection between daily teaching and practice, and striving to promote the implementation of quality education goals in physics teaching.

3. Entrants

It is open to ninth-grade students who have sufficient academic ability and are interested in physics.

IV. Work arrangements and requirements

1. Preliminary round: (1) Preliminary round time: March 16, 2013 (Saturday) 9:30-11:10

(2) Preliminary competition organization: Each participating school will organize registration, competition, and marking.

(3) Preliminary test questions: Posted on March 13 at the county teaching and research office email: ryjxyj@126.com (password ryjxyj). Schools participating in the competition will download and print for use. Scoring Criteria (released on March 17, 2012).

2. Rematch:

(1) Rematch time: March 31, 2013 (the last Sunday in March) 9:30-11:10 am

(2) Semi-final organization: The unified examination will be organized by the county teaching and research office, location: Ruyuan Middle School.

(3) Allocation of semi-final places: Based on the number of students competing in each school in the past three years, the preliminary allocation of places is as follows:
