Writing propaganda words with Du Fu's thatched cottage

Du Fu Caotang, Du Fu's former residence, is located on the Huanhua River in the western suburbs of Chengdu. Du Fu arrived in Chengdu in the drift from place to place, and with the help of his friends, he built a thatched cottage by the Huanhua River in the west of the city. In Da Yi, there is a panoramic view of Du Fu's thatched cottage and an introduction to Du Fu's life. In the center of the "History Museum of Poetry" is Du Fu's singing sculpture, and rubbings, wooden tablets and couplets commemorating poets of past dynasties are hung between pilasters. The galleries on both sides display Du Fu's Poems and Paintings and calligraphy by modern painters. There are two stone carvings of Du Fu, Ming and Qing Dynasties and Shaoling Caotang. Later generations put the famous poets Huang Tingjian and Lu You, who were local officials in Sichuan at that time, in the temple. The "Caotang Bookstore" on the left and the "Gangshou Hangxuan" on the right of the "Ministry Temple" display the ancient versions and various foreign language translations of Du Fu's works in various periods since the Song Dynasty.

Du Fu Caotang is surrounded by gurgling streams, bamboos and green trees, and pavilions and ponds are hidden among flowers and trees. This is a characteristic temple garden.
