At present, navel oranges are planted in the main producing provinces and cities, and more are planted in Gannan, Jiangxi, Zigui, Chongqing Wushan and Fengjie.

Newhall grows vigorously, the trees stretch, and the crown is oblate or round. The top of the tree is short and dense, and the leaves are dark. The results are a little later than those of Penna navel orange and Robertson navel orange. The fruit is long oval or short oval, orange-red and beautiful.
