Wan Laiming's Contribution Background

China's early animation industry originated in Shanghai. In the 1920s, Wan Laiming and Wan Guchan completed the first 3-minute animated short story "The Subversion of the Paper Man". 1935, they made the first animated film "Camel Dancing" in Star Film Company. 194 1 year, China United Pictures sponsored Wan Brothers to draw a 9-minute animated film Princess Iron Fan, which was widely praised after being released in China. Wan Brothers became the first pioneers of China animation.

Since then, he has served as the director of the Shanghai Animation Film Studio, and filmed The Wit Goat and Carving Ji Long. Both films won prizes at international film festivals. Wan Guchan began to study newspaper clippings on 1956. 1958 Shooting China's first newspaper clipping "Pigs Eat Watermelon". Since then, he has completed newspaper clippings such as Fisherman, Jigong Fighting Cricket, Ginseng Doll and Golden Conch, and won awards at home and abroad. Newspaper clippings created a new art film.
