Water quality inspection Standard for Boiler Softened Water

People's Republic of China (PRC) national standard gbl576-2001+0.

Industrial boiler water replaces GBL 576- 1996.

This standard specifies the water quality requirements of industrial boilers during operation.

This standard is applicable to fixed steam boilers and steam-water dual-purpose boilers with rated outlet steam pressure less than or equal to 2.5MPa, and also to fixed pressurized hot water boilers and atmospheric hot water boilers with water as the medium.

Extended data:

The regeneration process of boiler softened water is backwashing, salt absorption (regeneration), slow flushing (replacement) and fast flushing. The inlet pressure is 0.2~0.5Mpa, and the water consumption is

Technical indicators:

1, inlet pressure: 0.2~0.5Mpa.

2. raw water hardness: < 12mmol/L (when raw water hardness >); 8 mmol/L, which should be specially designed according to the water quality in different regions)

3. Hardness of effluent:

4. Raw water salinity < 1500mg/L, turbidity

5. Power supply: ~ 220v, 50hz

6. Salt consumption

7. Water consumption

Control mode:

According to the different regeneration control methods, automatic water softening equipment can be divided into time control and flow control;

time control

Time control refers to automatically starting the regeneration process when the equipment reaches the set regeneration time; This system sets the regeneration time according to the actual water consumption and equipment exchange capacity. Users can choose the regeneration process when the water consumption is low, or they can manually start the regeneration process at any time as needed.

Time control advantage: 1) cheap price; 2) simple operation

Disadvantages of time control: 1) Generally, it can only be regenerated once every 24 hours; (It can also be regenerated once every 12 hours, which requires special design; 2) It is impossible to accurately determine the regeneration time point according to the actual use situation;

Application: Time-based control is usually used for low hardness (

flow control

Flow control is to set the running end point according to the exchange capacity (total water production) of the equipment. When the equipment is running, a special flowmeter will be used to calculate the outflow of water. When the total water output reaches the set water volume, the controller will automatically start the regeneration process. Before setting, the total water production per cycle should be calculated according to the total resin loading and raw water hardness, and set according to this value. When the set amount of water is reached, it can be regenerated immediately or wait until the set time.
