The 219 conscription work meeting was held in Jinkouhe District of Leshan City.

On the afternoon of October 18th, the recruitment meeting in our district was held in the conference room on the second floor of the People's Armed Forces Department. Zhang Haibo, deputy head of the district conscription work leading group, liuyong, minister of the district people's armed forces and deputy head of the district conscription work leading group, and Gan Dong, vice minister of the district people's armed forces, attended the meeting. Ye Zhongzhou, member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and political commissar of the District People's Armed Forces Department, presided over the meeting. The principal responsible persons of the member units of the district conscription work leading group, the heads of townships (towns) and the ministers of armed forces of townships and enterprises attended the meeting.

The meeting reviewed and summarized the conscription work, and comprehensively arranged and deployed the conscription work; Three advanced units, namely Yongsheng Township Government, Heping Yi Township Government and District Public Security Bureau, and three advanced individuals, including Nili Shiba, Minister of Armed Forces of Jixing Township, emerged in the conscription work were informed and commended.

The meeting pointed out that this winter's conscription work in our district started in mid-October and ended in mid-December, which was divided into six stages: publicity and registration, physical examination, political review, selecting the best soldiers, seeing off the recruits and summing up the work.

The meeting demanded that departments at all levels should perform their duties conscientiously, strengthen coordination and cooperation, and strive to promote the healthy development of conscription work; Pay attention to reform and innovation, solve the problem of conscription, and constantly improve the quality and efficiency of conscription work; Aim at the objectives and tasks, strengthen organizational leadership, and solidly promote the effective implementation of conscription.

The meeting emphasized that all levels and departments should achieve the "one goal" of recruiting young people with high academic qualifications, do a solid job in military service registration's "two tasks" of conscription propaganda and preparation for conscription in one season and four seasons, make good use of the "three passes" of physical examination, political review and academic qualifications verification, and strengthen the "four consciousnesses" of serving soldiers, handling affairs according to law, coordinating and performing their duties, so as to ensure the quality of soldiers.

It is reported that the latest policies and regulations on conscription this winter are as follows: 1. The state has lifted the restrictions on the proportion of non-agricultural registered permanent residence youth conscription, and lifted the deferment regulations for students studying in full-time colleges and universities. This winter's conscription began on November 1, and the recruits began to be shipped on December 1, and the delivery was completed before December 31. 2. The People's Government of Sichuan Province has decided that since November 1st, the retired soldiers (conscripts and noncommissioned officers, the same below) who are self-employed will be given a one-time local economic subsidy by the district people's government in the resettlement area on the basis of a one-time retirement pension. The subsidy standard is calculated according to the length of service, with 6, yuan per person per year for retired conscripts and 7, yuan per person per year for retired noncommissioned officers.
