Although Guangshan Ancient Painting Opera is a local opera, some researchers believe that it not only absorbs local folk songs, but also absorbs the music and expression techniques of Yiyang Opera and Liu Zi Opera, and has a rich musical vocabulary. Daobai uses local dialects and slang, and with the help of singing, it is full of life and liveliness, and is very popular with local people. There are more than 200 traditional plays of ancient paintings in Guangshan, most of which reflect the folk life of the Han nationality and publicize traditional morality. The plays are interesting. Generally speaking, there are only seven or eight people in the ancient painting troupe, and their costumes are simple and suitable for performing in rural areas. There is no professional performing group in Guangshan ancient painting drama, famous old artists have died one after another, and the repertoire is decreasing day by day, which needs to be cultivated and protected urgently.
