Puxin Expressway starts from Puyang City, connects Pufan Expressway, passes through Dongming, Heze and Cao Xian in Shandong Province, Quan Min, Ningling, Suixian, Zhecheng, Lu Yi, Dancheng and Shenqiu in Henan Province, Linquan and Funan in Anhui Province, Huaibin, Gushi and Shangcheng in Henan Province, Macheng, Luotian and Wuxue in Hubei Province, and connects with Yangxin Hangrui Expressway in Hubei Province.

The first phase project of Puyang section of Yangxin Expressway is one of the 13445 expressway projects that have been started in our province. The whole project runs from north to south, connecting Taihui Expressway in the north, passing through Liutun Town, Hubuzhai Town, Wangchenggu Town, Liuwen Town and Baigang Township, reaching Liyuan Township in Puyang County, the end of the project, and connecting with the north bridge head of the Yellow River Bridge under construction. The total length of the project route is about 33.9 kilometers, and the estimated investment is 3.247 billion yuan. Construction started on June 20 19, and it is planned to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of 2022.

This toll station has 12 access channel, which is the largest among all high-speed toll stations in Puyang at present. In order to facilitate rapid traffic, there are 4 ETC channels and 2 artificial channels on the upper and lower sides of the expressway. The person in charge of the project department told the reporter that the highway has been completely constructed, and the professional testing company has successfully passed the handover verification test of the bridge, pavement, traffic safety, subgrade and indoor engineering of the project, and recently passed the network access test. The person in charge said: Now that everything is ready, it will be officially opened to traffic.

In 2022, the first phase of Xiangyang section of Yangxin Expressway was opened to traffic. In September, at the construction site of the railway overpass across Xinyan in Heze section of Puxin Expressway, construction workers were carrying out hoisting operations. On February 25th, Heze section of 65438 Puyang-Yangxin Expressway was officially opened to traffic.
