Hello, tourists! Welcome to visit Shanjuan Cave.

Now we come to the door of Shanjuan Cave. The tall and majestic gatehouse looks quaint, luxurious and elegant against the backdrop of green trees and bamboos. Fei Xinwo, a famous calligrapher, wrote "Shanjuan Cave" in three striking Chinese characters, which attracted countless Chinese and foreign tourists. Let's go into the building and wander around this "eternal spirit" carefully.

There are four official characters "Spirit of the Eternal" in front of the strange stone in Taihu Lake, written by the famous Yixing painter Qian Songyan. Where is Shanjuan Cave? First, this cave was formed more than one million years ago; Second, this bougainvillea is called the living fossil of primitive society; The third is the name of the cave. Let's talk while walking.

Shanjuandong was named after the Yao and Shun period more than 4,000 years ago. The ancient book "Zhuangzi" said: "Shun let goodness roll in the world, and goodness roll: Xiao Yu is complacent between heaven and earth, why should I be in the world?" So not far from Wanli, I came to this barren mountain cave in the south of the Yangtze River to live in seclusion. Later generations called this cave a good scroll cave. Shanjuan Cave covers an area of about 5,000 square meters with a journey of 800 meters. * * * There are three layers, which are connected layer by layer. It is divided into four holes: upper, middle, lower and water. The holes are connected, just like a stone building. In particular, "there is a river in the cave, and the river can cross the boat; The boat is in the water, and the pulp supports the sky. " This is necessary. It has been called the three wonders of the world together with the "Han Cave" in Belgium and the "Lyon Cave" in France.

Now, everyone came to the mouth of the cave, and a boulder more than seven meters high blocked the way. Don't underestimate this stone. It's over 30,000 years old, and it grows one centimeter every fifty years, and it grows taller and taller bit by bit. Because the water dripping from the roof rock is rich in calcium carbonate, under certain temperature and pressure, these calcium carbonate will gradually solidify, and "dripping through the stone" becomes "dripping feldspar" here. Unfortunately, the hole collapsed at 1957, and the reinforced roof stopped dripping and boulders stopped growing. It seems to be the mainstay in the torrent of the Yellow River, so it is called "the mainstay peak", and it was also called "Little Sumeru Mountain" in ancient times. Ok, let's bypass the boulder and explore the wonders in the cave.

Now we are in the cave in the middle. This hall is called "Lion Elephant Stadium". Since it is called the Lion Elephant Hall, there should be lions and elephants. Let's look at the lion first. Probably because I have been standing for a long time and feel very tired. It is lying and resting, yawning with its big mouth open, showing a pair of front teeth. Only one eye can be seen on the head sideways, with a concave waist and a convex buttocks, and the tail naturally drags on the ground. If you look closely, you will find that it still has long lion hair and is blue. It is really a real green lion. Is this true for everyone? For example. Then please look at everyone from another angle.

The elephant stood in high spirits, with its long nose dragging on the ground, and its ivory, front legs and hind legs were clearly visible, except for its tail. Why? It turns out that the elephant king's tail is short and small, which is really detrimental to his majesty compared with his pampered body, so he secretly hides it in the cave.

Green lions and elephants are both very big, so it may not be an exaggeration to call them the lion king and the elephant king. The lion king and the elephant king are on both sides, with their heads facing the hole. They are like two guards guarding Shanjuan Cave and two hospitable hosts. Welcome to visit.

Come with me to see a strange stone, which we call "changeable stone". From different angles, it looks like an ape, a toad, a fox and a seal ... Because stalactites in caves are all visual stones, you must stand in a good position to see them realistically. In our jargon, it looks a bit like it if you don't say it. If you stand at a good angle, the more you look, the more you look. Ok, please follow me forward.

This stone wall is engraved with four big characters: "Desire is a fairy capital". In Buddhist teachings, desire refers to the world of mortals, that is, the colorful world where human beings live, which literally means "paradise on earth". These four words were paid tribute to Shanjuan Cave by Tao Hongjing and Bai Zhen of Liang Dynasty. Tao Hongjing is a famous Taoist figure in China, who has made a very important contribution to the development of Taoism. At that time, he was called "Prime Minister in the Mountain". Well, since the "Prime Minister in the Mountain" spoke highly of Shanjuan Cave, please don't mention it. Please come with me to heaven.

Friends looked up at the top of the cave. The rocks above covered the whole cave like clouds. It's foggy around, as if standing in the middle of the sea, with no edge in sight. Therefore, this cave is called "the land of clouds".

The cave is warm in winter and cool in summer, with four seasons like spring, and the temperature keeps around 23 degrees Celsius all the year round. Some friends may want to ask: is air conditioning installed on the hole? Otherwise, how can it be kept constant? Not because of air conditioning, but because of a big stone that plays a certain role in heat preservation. The whole cave is made of stones. As for which one it is, friends may wish to observe it carefully when they visit, and I will uncover the mystery for you after visiting the cave.

Look at a huge bat flying towards you with its wings spread, followed by a small bat. In ancient times, the bat was regarded as a kind of mascot, known as "Wan Fu Lai Chao", "five blessings" and "both longevity and happiness".

There is also a willow tree next to this small pool. It can be seen from the small hole in the stem that it has grown for many years, but it still looks vibrant and flourishing. The drooping willow branches seem to express a warm welcome to everyone.

Like the "pillar peak" in the middle cave, this stalactite on the top of the head grows by dripping water. The difference is that this stalactite is still dripping down and growing down. If someone doesn't believe me, I might as well take out a ruler and measure its current length, and then measure it again in 50 years to confirm whether my words are true or not. From this point of view, this stalactite is like a lotus in bud. If friends want to see the lotus blossom, please come with me.

Begging friends to look down. This scene can not help but remind people of the description in China's ancient poem "Love Lotus": the mud is not touched, the ripples are clear but not demon, the communication is straightforward, not sloppy, and it can be viewed from a distance without being ridiculous. Lotus is just in bud, and now it is in full bloom in the water. I don't know if any friends have smelled the fragrance of lotus.

In fact, what we just saw was just a reflection in the water. The water below is not deep, only a dozen centimeters, but it is particularly deep and more beautiful under the illumination of light.

Please come near me. As we said before, we should stand at a good angle when looking at the scenery, or we will be confused.

First of all, we see a white horse. Its color is white. We can't see its hind legs because we are sitting. Now let's look at it from another angle and see what it has become.

Friends, take a closer look. What kind of animal is this? Who can guess? Yes, this is an old sheep. It looks like a yak in Tibet from the bulging part of its back, looks like a cute little white rabbit from its long ears, but looks like a small goldfish from the triangle with its head down, which is closer to an old sheep as a whole. According to custom, the year of the horse will usher in the past year of the sheep. Can you draw such a couplet from it: "A good horse comes home through the snow, and a spirit sheep comes in spring". This stone can see two kinds of animals because it stands from different angles. We call it "sitting on a horse and standing on a sheep".

Please turn around and look at this stone wall. There is a black stripe. This is an own goal. The dragon's tail is dragging in the pool to absorb water. Several other pools in Shandong have water, but this pool is dry and there is no water. Water was sucked up by it and sprayed out of its raised mouth. "Oolong sprayed a line of water into the air." It's going to rain here soon. Please leave at once to avoid getting wet and catching a cold.

Now what appears before our eyes is a humorous picture drawn by the super sculptor nature: a bear is climbing a tree. There is a bear lying on the trunk. When it saw the oolong spraying water, it climbed up the tree in fear. Because this bear is usually pampered, it is inevitable to get fat. At the critical moment, it was exposed. I've been climbing for millions of years and I haven't been able to climb up. On the contrary, it even climbed down its tail. Standing on the branch is a Shan Ying, with a pointed mouth facing down, as if laughing at the stupid bear. However, in my opinion, although this bear is a little stupid, its indomitable enterprising spirit is still worth learning.

Going to the cave is a good place to make a movie. This is where the Tiger Hall in "Taking Tiger Mountain Outward" was filmed. At that time, the tiger throne carved in this mountain was placed in the middle of the platform, and Luan Ping was brought here on our way here. In addition, the TV series The Journey to the West's eighth episode of the Yellow Wind Tunnel and the movie "The Wonder of the Great Wall" were also filmed here.

The whole cave is supported by two plum trees. Please look at the one on the right. It consists of two sections. In order not to be eliminated by nature, this plum tree has finally grown together after tens of thousands of years of growth, with obvious connection traces in the middle, which is called "eternal double". "Mei" means "Mei".

On the left, this cold plum tree has flat roots and leaves, flourishing leaves, or a pen, which can be densely packed like a forest. What's even more peculiar is that there is a little panda on it, with round ears, black eyes and a hydrangea on its two front legs, which is very lively and lovely. This little panda has been living in seclusion since he came to Shanjuan Cave, and never wants to go back to his hometown in Sichuan.

According to the legend of God, heaven and earth are separated by Pangu. Look at a muscular palm here, with five fingers spread apart and palm facing up, as if holding the ceiling of the cave hard. We call it "Pangu holds the sky high". The earliest formation of Shanjuan Cave began here. The water in this pool is 3% heavier than the tap water used in daily life. It contains more minerals, is clear and transparent, and can be used to treat eye diseases.

There is a hole in the mountain, a building in the hole, and a building above the mountain roll hole. Now, please take a walk, climb a higher mountain and enjoy the panoramic view of the cave.

Friends, before visiting the cave, I said that the cave can keep constant temperature, mainly because there is a stone to keep warm. I wonder which friend found this stone when I was traveling just now? It's time to solve the mystery. Please look forward to A Flying Cloud Covering the Hole. This stone covered the hole above like a flying cloud, leaving only a small gap. In addition, it is still on the horizon of the upper cave, which hinders the air convection inside and outside the cave and forms the temperature of the upper cave of 23 degrees Celsius all the year round.

The visit to the upper cave ends here, but the magical scenery of Shanjuan Cave is mainly concentrated in the lower cave and the water cave. Please continue to visit the cave with me.

The word "eliminating all diseases" was not originally written by Rong Yiren, but by Rong Desheng, a national capitalist. Speaking of which, there is another story!

Mr Rong and Mr Chu Nanqiang are good friends. When Rong Lao learned that his friend had exhausted his family property in order to repair the good scroll hole, even his wife's jewelry and daughter-in-law's dowry were sold out, he was very moved. He lent a helping hand and donated all the cement needed in the cave. 1934, when the cave was renovated and officially opened to the public, Mr. Chu Nanqiang invited Mr. Rong to visit, and Rong Lao was very happy. Although he was not feeling well at that time, he was invited. Unexpectedly, when he went up and down a circle, he was deeply attracted by the wonderful scenery of Shanjuan Cave, and he felt very comfortable. Even that little discomfort has been cured. On a whim, he wrote the word "eliminate all diseases". Unfortunately, the original site was destroyed as the "Four Classics" during the Cultural Revolution, and later his son, Vice President Rong Yiren, wrote a book here. Here, I also wish all my friends that all diseases will be eliminated and those who are not sick will be healthier.

The "stairway" is the entrance to the next tunnel. From here, you have to go through 105 steps, which is five stories deep. The hole in the middle and the hole below were originally only connected by small caves. In order to prevent tourists from going back when visiting, from 1925, 20 craftsmen dug here every day, and it took 10 years to get through. On this road, we have to pass four gates: Leifeng Gate, Bobo Gate, Jingu Gate and Wanma Gate. Whenever it rains, the sound of rain and running water in the next hole refracts and transmits here, resulting in * * *. From different angles, you can hear four different sounds, including thunder and wind, rolling waves, golden drums ringing and Ma Benteng. It's sunny outside in Wan Li today, and it doesn't rain. If any friend is in a good mood, let's enjoy the poetry in rainy days.

The upper hole and the middle hole are characterized by being tall and spacious, while the lower hole is like a long and narrow corridor. Together with running water, it seems that in another world, the next hole is also called "another day."

Please look at a bunch of bananas, lentils, an old loofah, corn and peppers on the stone wall in front. Below is an eagle, like a patron saint, guarding these fruits and vegetables, which can only be enjoyed by you, but not tasted. There is also an old birthday girl smiling at you, bald and bearded. It's called "the birthday girl smiles and wishes you health"

"The snow is loose, loose and straight. If you want to know the noble people of pine and cypress, wait for them to melt. " This is a poem written by Marshal Chen Yi, one of the top ten marshals in China, which praises the integrity and integrity of Song Qing. Look at the pine tree in front of you. Its trunk is thick, its branches cover the sky, and it is tall and straight, and its branches are covered with a thick layer of snow. However, despite the cold weather, it still stands proudly. It is called "Tian Tong Songshi".

Looking up, there is the word "Huagaiding" on it, which is the highest point of the next cave, 22 meters away from the surface. There are also two Buddha statues here, one sitting and the other standing. There are more than 500 original Buddha statues in Shanjuan Cave, most of which were smashed as "Four Old" during the Cultural Revolution. The two Buddha statues were saved because they were placed too high and the terrain was dangerous, and no one dared to climb desperately.

In front of the cave, you can see a ray of light, but it is blocked by pieces of stalactites hanging from the top of the cave. These stalactites are like bergamot and curtain, so they are called "Buddha water curtain" here. The "Honeycomb Cave" in the Peking Opera Panshiwan was filmed here.

As soon as the curtain is lifted, there is a waterfall on the opposite cliff. The water impacts from above, hitting the stone, and splashing water on the stone, impacting each other and splashing strings of flying pearls and jade. Compared with ordinary natural waterfalls, it has a unique charm. Mr. Chu Nanqiang, a celebrity in Yixing who presided over the repair of Shanjuan Cave, once wrote a poem for this purpose: "Thousands of waves are from top to bottom, smiling upside down, earning my husband's money and swinging into the lake and sea for thunder." According to the meaning of this poem, this brown pavilion is named "Filter Heart Pavilion", which is a good place to take pictures. If you like, you can take photos, and then we can visit the essence of Shanjuan Cave.

A bell and a drum are hung on the stone wall on the right. There is nothing unusual about this kind of bell and drum now, but miracles will occur when it rains. Water drops drop on the drum surface one after another, and the waves below will hit the stone clock and play a beautiful music. If the lion elephant in the middle hole is compared to a guard of honor, then this is a band.

There are all kinds of unusual lotus flowers in the hole above. Flowers bloom in the upper hole, but there are three knotted lotus roots in the lower hole, and there are pumpkins and tomatoes on the side.

Dear friends, now we come to the water pier, which is also the center of the cave, and is called "Valley Heart". You must be a little tired after roaming up and down for hundreds of meters just now. Please have a rest in Dongting.

In the Tang Dynasty, there was a man named Kun Li. When he was young, he chose Bixian Temple behind Shanjuan Cave to study poetry hard. One morning, when he got up, he saw a dragon swimming out of the water hole, with the faucet facing the hole, breathing the aura between heaven and earth. Kun Li immediately wrote a letter to the emperor, saying that "when the dragon appears, it must be a good omen for the son of heaven". On the gate archway, there is a huge stone inscribed by the famous calligrapher Qian Songyan. These four words are Kun Li's description of Shanjuan Cave.

The people of China have always regarded the dragon as the supreme object of worship. Since this important Mr. Kun Li has words as evidence, it is difficult for future generations to tell the difference. Kun Li's inscription greatly improved the popularity of Shanjuan Cave, cast a mysterious color on Shanjuan Cave, and brought a lot of trouble to future generations.

1933, Mr. Chu Nanqiang, a local celebrity, was determined to get through the connection between the underground tunnel and the water tunnel, but the masons were superstitious about the legend of the Millennium Dragon and dared not make bold construction. Coincidentally, the German Sea View Wave Circus is holding an animal training performance in Shanghai, which has caused a sensation throughout Shanghai. After Mr. Chu knew the news, he sent someone to contact the circus, hoping that they could catch the white dragon. Mr. Yang is not afraid of dragons, but he is smart in business. He thinks that this white dragon may not be caught, and whether it can be performed after it is caught is even more a problem. Although it has been more than 20 years since animal training and the lion elephant can command satisfactorily, it is the first time to catch a dragon. Just in case,

Mr. Zhu held his breath and insisted on finding out whether it was true or not. He personally supervised the masonry, worked day and night for several spring and autumn periods, and finally got through. He was the first person to explore a small hole with a boat. What happened? I have never even seen a water snake, let alone a thousand-year-old white dragon.

Since then, the myth of the hidden white dragon in the water cave has only been circulated among the people as a legend. However, in this winding water cave, the quiet artistic conception of "the ship is sailing in the water and the pulp is propped up in the sky" is a mystery in people's hearts after all. Some people here can't help but want to take a boat to see the truth. Now why don't you take a boat with me to appreciate the artistic conception of the water cave?

My friends, please wait and see. Now we begin to visit the water cave.

The water tunnel used to be an ancient underground river, with a length of 1.20 meters. It zigzagged three times. The widest point of the water surface is 6 meters, and the deepest point is nearly 5 meters. In front of it, protect your head. Never bump into a big bag and take it back as a souvenir. The "head" is the lowest part of the water tunnel. Please keep your head down, the water in front of you will be reflected in colorful colors, and the walls will be brightly lit, as if you were in the mythical "Crystal Palace".

Prominent in front is a crocodile from the Yangtze River. It came to Shanjuan Cave and never came back. In a rage, it made its eyes red. You've seen the crocodile head. Watch your head. There's an old aojiang resting beside you. "People can sail under the crocodile's head." There is a snowy mountain next to the crocodile's head. The snow and ice in the mountain melted, and a narrow path went straight to the top of the mountain.

Rowing in caves is strange and unusual. Paddle in the water elsewhere, but you can see that this paddle in my hand is supported. This is called punting.

"The wall is unobstructed, and the water does not cover the sky." Turned a 90-degree right-angle corner and came to the second corner. At the corner, there is a boat, not the east wind or the ocean, but the "stone" of the cave. Because the equipment on the ship was too backward at that time, it took more than 4,000 years to open a bow, and it is estimated that it will take 50,000 years to complete it. Welcome to visit again then.

Listen carefully to the sound of dripping water, like a never-ending "dripping concerto", just like calling the legendary white dragon in the voice. Xie Zeng, a poet in the Qing Dynasty, wrote a poem "A Small Water Cave is a Good Volume": "When you hear the sound of raindrops, your sinus is cold, and you are afraid that the piano will attract the white dragon for a long time."

While enjoying the winding river bend, steep cliffs, coping with the sky and strange natural shapes, you can imagine yourself visiting underground galleries, underground museums or exploring the underground with rich imagination.

Leaving the abode of fairies and immortals and climbing the stone steps, the stone wall is engraved with poems and songs praising Shanjuan Cave House by many tourists from ancient and modern times and at home and abroad. Visitors may wish to chant while resting. Please see, here is a message from Mr. Jiang Shunan, who is known as the "second Xu Xiake": "A good book is never tired of reading, a beauty is never tired of reading, and a second hole is never tired of reading." On this reinforced stone wall, the poem "A flying butterfly" was originally engraved. It is said that this is due to the story that Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai became butterflies and flew together.

In this ancient four-corner pavilion, the three characters of "Avoiding Immortal Temple" on the tablet were written by Li Kun, my ambassador to Taining and Fengxiang in the Tang Dynasty. Above the monument is the Tomb of Qin Bamboo Slips in the Jin Dynasty, and opposite it is the Butterfly Pavilion, which stands beside the rock. In the past, in this area, March 28th was the "Butterfly Watching Festival" every year. On this day, thousands of pairs of butterflies danced with me in the flowers of Qingshan, during which a pair of giant butterflies appeared at noon. It is said that they were transformed by the soul of "Liang Zhu". Both of them jumped around the pavilion for three times and finally disappeared behind Bixian Temple. There is a poem in ancient times: "Quiet Yun Song Road, butterflies fly in the grass." "Butterflies are like mountains and flowers are like jade."

Zhu Yingtai Reading Room is an antique building complex, which was rebuilt on the site of Bixian Temple in 1992. Let's go to the garden and have a look.

Sitting facing south is "Yingtai Pavilion", below is the place where Liang Zhu studies, plays the piano and entertains, and on the second floor is the bedroom. Eight Qi Diao screens are displayed in Yingtai Bookstore on the right side of Yingtai Pavilion, which tells eight short stories, such as Grateful Grass Bridge, Eighteen Gifts and Yingtai's Refusal to Marry.

Well, let's say goodbye to Liang Zhu, cross the corridor and visit three ancient people again. "Three Temples", three statues, the same figure, the same face, the same beard, all holding a book in their right hands. Who are they? One is Kun Li in the Tang Dynasty, who wrote the word "Bixian Temple"; The second place is Li Gang of the Northern Song Dynasty; The third place is Zengbo Li in the Southern Song Dynasty. All three of them once lived in Shanjuan Temple to study, and later became big officials, all of whom paid for repairing the temple. Because all three people are surnamed Li, the locals thought it was three children, so they made three identical statues. There is a couplet that says very vividly: "One person is reborn as three prime ministers, and three students build temples and get married."

We came in through the gate of Shanjuan Cave and went out through the "Huazang Gate" of Shanjuan Ancient Temple, and the whole tour ended here. In front of us is a commodity street with local characteristics, and not far from the west is the "National Mountain Monument" known as the "First Monument in the South of the Yangtze River".
