Since the 1950s, a large number of epidemiological studies have confirmed worldwide that smoking is the primary risk factor for lung cancer. With the younger age of the smoking population and the substantial increase in the number of adolescent smokers, our school believes that it is imperative to strengthen the publicity and education on tobacco control. Therefore, from May 31, 20xx to the present, our school has organized a series of corresponding anti-smoking activities for teachers and students throughout the school in conjunction with the "World No Tobacco Day".

1. Establishing an inspection working group

Our school has established a principal as the team leader, the vice president in charge of moral education and the general affairs director as the deputy team leaders, and the team leaders at all levels as team members The inspection working group went to various offices and special rooms to conduct non-smoking inspections, focusing on whether faculty and staff smoked in non-public places.

During the inspection process, our school promptly supplemented some places without obvious no-smoking signs, reminding every teacher and student at all times to cherish life and refuse to smoke.

2. Strengthen publicity and education

1. Smoking is harmful to health, not only to smokers but also to others. To this end, our school uses the Red Scarf Radio Station to carry out publicity and education from various aspects such as creating a national sanitary city, environmental protection, physical health, and national quality, so that everyone can know the dangers of smoking.

2. Use the school bulletin board to publish a bulletin board with the theme of "Protect the Environment, Cherish Life, Refuse Smoking" to play its long-term role in publicity and education.

3. Using the teacher meeting time, the principal also organized all teachers to carefully study the "Law on the Protection of Minors" that was passed and revised by a unanimous vote at the 25th meeting of the Standing Committee, and educated all from the perspective of the law. 4. A signature ceremony of "Refuse to smoke the first cigarette and become a new generation who does not smoke" was held. All 536 students in the school (except those who asked for leave that day) participated in this ceremony Signature campaign, pledge not to attract new generations.

5. The Young Pioneers Brigade Headquarters issued a proposal to all teachers and students in the school.
