Have you ever seen a tanker with a nuclear load of 19 tons but an actual load of 90 tons? Have you ever seen a Big Mac with a nuclear load of 30 tons but an actual load of 130 tons? The traffic police no longer allow penalties for unloading overloaded vehicles. If you look at the large trucks on the road, nine and a half out of ten vehicles are more or less overloaded. 2. Controls when a tire blows out

I just mentioned a vehicle tire blowout. When driving at high speed, the consequences of a small car blowout, especially a front wheel blowout, are far greater than a big car blowout. Although the tire blowout is unpredictable due to serious tire damage, we often find an interesting phenomenon in our accident handling: if the left front wheel blowout causes the vehicle to lose control and hit the guardrail, it will often hit the right guardrail, and vice versa.

The reason is that when a vehicle has a tire blowout, due to the difference in tire diameter and friction coefficient, the vehicle's running trajectory will be biased in the direction of the tire blowout. The left front wheel with a blowout will move to the left, and the right front wheel with a blowout will move to the right, while the driver is steering. When correcting, the pointing performance is reflected slowly on a vehicle that has a flat tire. In addition, the panic caused by the flat tire often leads to over-correction, which artificially aggravates the vehicle's loss of control, causing the left front wheel to burst and hit the right side instead. Guardrails, or even hitting the left and right guardrails multiple times in a row. The correct approach is to hold the direction tightly when the vehicle has a tire blowout. No matter which direction the vehicle's front is tilted, give a fixed correction angle (related to your actual vehicle speed) and maintain it with force. At the same time, do not apply emergency braking, because at this time The braking ability of the vehicle is unbalanced in the longitudinal direction. Keep the deceleration behavior under control and strive to maintain the original driving trajectory. Do not make sudden direction corrections.

3. Speeding

Everyone knows the dangers of speeding, whether it is local or highway, it will cause irreparable consequences. If you drive a car with a speed of 100 kilometers per hour, assuming you are 170cm tall, the physiological reaction time from when your eyes notice the situation to when your brain makes a judgment and then reflects on the brakes is about 1.7 seconds, and at this time your vehicle Already traveled 47.2M. 40 meters away! How many helpless lives will it contain! We once checked for speeding on a road section with a speed limit of 70km/h (we only recorded it at 110km), and a small car actually went 203km/h. Looking at the photo, we all said that this driver will be reimbursed sooner or later, and it will be his life. Life is in his hands, no one else can do anything about it. Regarding speeding, I have only two words: one is "nine out of ten disasters", and the other is don't be superstitious about "good cars". Some people often superstitiously believe that their cars are good and their performance is good, but everyone is equal in life. We have a BMW 745, a Porsche Cayenne, and an S80. It doesn’t matter if it’s a Japanese car or a European car. As long as there’s an accident due to speeding, you’ll die or be injured without any delay. The highest highway speed limit in our country is 120KM/H. This is the legal maximum speed written in the safety law. This is not unfounded. According to foreign data, if a car with a speed exceeding 160KM has a tire blowout accident, no matter you Whether seat belts are worn or not, the mortality rate for drivers and passengers is 100%! 4. Safety inspection before driving

This is still a problem caused by the tire puncture problem. This is a very accidental factor. You said your car is a new one? We have a new car with less than 5,000 kilometers that has a flat tire. 5. Highway markings, signs and warnings

I believe that many drivers who often use the highway will find that there are warning signs and warning lights of this kind along the highway from time to time. I didn't pay much attention to these things when I didn't drive on the expressway before, but after working for the past few years, I deeply realized that every "accident-prone road section, please drive with caution", when you see similar warning signs on the road, you must We must consciously reduce the speed and keep the distance between vehicles, and be prepared to respond to emergencies.

6. Try to avoid driving at night

In the current reality of our country, this is a nationwide A general rule: there are far more large trucks driving at night than on the road during the day.

In our place, just talking about large trucks, the ratio of day to night can reach 1:5 or even higher. When patrolling at night, there is a row of white lights on the left and a row of red lights on the right, with no end in sight. This once confused us. However, the view is good during the day and the traffic volume is small. Why do so many trucks stay up day and night? So much so that we often stayed up all night to deal with the police. Later, through chatting with the driver involved, I learned that during the day, you have to load and unload goods, repair vehicles, and find people for errands. And most importantly, road administration, over-limit and traffic police are all on the road during the day, so driving at night is less troublesome! This results in nighttime being a time of high incidence of various accidents. As drivers and passengers of small cars, when driving at night, the traffic volume and density are high, and the "unpleasant" driving is secondary. The most important thing is that most of the drivers of large cars who have been busy all day are suspected of being involved in the crime. Fatigue driving, unlicensed driving, illegal driving, etc. are largely involved, posing greater safety risks to driving. Moreover, the seat of the big car is high, and the high isolation of the highway cannot block the string of headlights coming from the opposite direction. 7. Use flashing lights to remind you when overtaking

The highway is fast and noisy. Your car horn cannot be heard by the car in front of you. When overtaking, you should use far and near flashing lights to remind you. It is more useful to hit the other side; and, when you find that there are two or more large trucks in the driving lane that are relatively close to each other, when overtaking, you have to be careful of the large truck behind you suddenly changing lanes to overtake. 8. Do not occupy emergency parking lanes in non-emergency situations. Emergency parking lanes, as the name suggests, are lanes that can only be used in emergencies.

9. Protect the scene? Stay safe!

The highway section under our brigade’s jurisdiction is about 170 kilometers. In the past, accidents had to be done three shifts at a time. The facts are not in dispute, there are no casualties, little financial damage, and the vehicle can move. However, no matter how much we try to persuade on the phone, both parties refuse to do so. Move your car to the side of the road! We must go to the scene to "take pictures" before we move the car! Seventy or eighty kilometers! The fastest would be forty minutes an hour! Sometimes, for the sake of losing a hundred yuan, two cars would block traffic on the road, causing the road to be blocked for more than ten kilometers! When I meet such a driver, I feel so bad about him! For your own slight benefit, you ignore the traffic police's advice and go your own way. What if your vehicle is stuck on the road and causes a secondary accident? What should you do if your vehicle gets stuck on the road, blocking the road behind and causing an accident? What is certain is that if another accident occurs, the damage to people and property will be greater than your small accident. If the parties involved in the subsequent accident sue you, although you may not be legally responsible, you will be 100% liable for compensation. responsibility!

If an accident with minor property damage occurs on a highway, if there are no casualties, both parties have no objections to the cause, and the vehicle has the ability to move, the vehicle must be moved to the emergency parking lane. 10. After the accident

Of course, what I mentioned above is just a simple accident with small financial losses.

If your vehicle is involved in a major property damage accident or even casualty accident on the highway, you must not move on the scene (except to rescue the injured). This will involve two more important things: setting up warning signs and calling the police. . If a traffic accident occurs on a highway and the vehicle cannot move, a warning sign must be set up 150 meters away from the accident scene in the direction of the vehicle, and personnel must move outside the highway guardrail. Remember: it must be 150 meters away. If a secondary accident occurs because the warning sign you set cannot reach this distance, then our accident police will definitely hold you responsible for the secondary accident. In the end, At least it is secondary or even equal! Unfortunately, based on my experience on the highway in the past few years, no one involved is willing to put warning signs in place, really! Not one! I was impressed by someone who could set up a sign fifty meters behind the car! I still remember that at midnight last summer, when an old comrade from the team and I were patrolling back to our work unit, we discovered a traffic accident that had just occurred in the half-way downhill driveway on the opposite side. Four or five people involved in two large trucks acted "as if nothing had happened." Of course, if your vehicle does not have a warning triangle or a cone, you can also borrow a colorful travel bag, an oil drum, or even a tree branch on the roadside, but don’t move rocks! Then the nature has changed! When it comes to calling the police, often after an accident occurs, the first call is to the wife and children, the second is to a friend, and the third is to the insurance company. By the time he thinks of calling the police, it has been an hour since the accident! If a secondary accident occurs because of this, I'm sorry, but you will still have to bear the legal responsibility for the secondary accident! After an accident, three things are indispensable: setting up warning signs, moving people off the road, and calling the police in a timely manner. If any irregularity in any link aggravates the consequences of the accident or directly leads to the occurrence of a secondary accident, the parties involved must bear corresponding legal responsibilities. . 3. On the highway, double flashing lights must be turned on in time under any abnormal driving conditions! Including parking, road blockage and construction ahead, single-lane clearance, accidents ahead, entering fog areas, etc.
