As early as the Red Army period, there was a written pledge to fulfill a military order. The earliest written military order of our army was 1933, which was formulated by the Revolutionary Military Commission of the Chinese Soviet Central Committee (the full name of the Revolutionary Military Commission of the People's Committee of the Chinese Soviet Central Executive Committee). It is called the "Oath of the Chinese Workers and Peasants Red Army" and contains five articles. The content is as follows:

1, we are the sons of workers and peasants, volunteered to be the Red Army, completed the glorious task entrusted to us by the Soviet Union, and fought to the end for the liberation of workers and peasants;

We are red fighters, so we should make sure that we and our comrades absolutely abide by and obey all orders of the Soviet Union, and set an example by our own thoughts and actions. Study politics and military affairs hard, protect the interests of workers and peasants and their own weapons so that they will not be lost or stolen;

3. We are the pillars of the Soviet Union, and vowed to develop the national revolutionary war with our flesh and blood, carry out the agrarian revolution, overthrow the Kuomintang, ensure that the Soviet Union overthrew imperialism, strive for the liberation of China, arm the Soviet Union to complete the revolution, and strive for the socialist future;

The enemy is attacking on a large scale. We will unite as one, fight to the death with bayonets and guns, and exchange our heads and blood for Soviet new China;
