Compared with Western developed countries, China's green port construction lags significantly behind and is still in its infancy. In addition, the domestic understanding of green ports is not comprehensive. They often think that green ports are green ports. Some ports even claim to be green ports by doing some greening work such as planting trees and grass. China is short of energy and the environment is deteriorating day by day. As a new type of port with low energy consumption and low pollution, green ports are an inevitable trend in the development of the port industry. Therefore, learning from the advanced practices of Western countries is of great significance to my country's construction of green ports.
