The Emergency Department of Peking University First Hospital was founded in 1989. The emergency department has a dedicated pharmacy, fee office, laboratory, general X-ray and CT open 24 hours a day. At present, the emergency department receives about 300 patients every day. The working area is divided into five parts: reception area, rescue area, temporary observation area, observation ward and intensive care unit. It has 63 beds, including 3 rescue beds and intensive care beds. 18 beds, 42 observation beds, and 40 temporary infusion chairs. Ordinary emergency patients will go to the corresponding department after being triaged. If their condition requires, they can receive infusion treatment in the temporary observation room. Critically ill patients are directly admitted to the emergency room for diagnosis and treatment. Staffing: 22 active doctors, including 3 chief physicians, 2 deputy chief physicians, 15 attending physicians, 75% of whom have a master's degree or above.
