Why is Shiyan called the automobile city?

Shiyan is called "Automobile City" because it is an important automobile production and scientific research base in China and a new industrial city with automobile industry as its main industry.

Shiyan has the world-famous Dongfeng Motor Company. Every three minutes, a car goes off the production line and goes to the world, which is called "the city on wheels".
