1. Alarm installation location: within a radius of 1.5m from the air source, in a well-ventilated place;

3. Precautions for installation of household gas leak alarm:

(1) The probe of the alarm mainly contacts the detection element of the combustion gas sensor. It consists of platinum wire coil coated with alumina and adhesive, and rare metals such as platinum and palladium are attached to the outer surface. Therefore, care must be taken during installation to avoid damaging the probe.

(2) The installation height of the alarm should generally be 160- 170 cm, which is convenient for maintenance personnel to carry out daily maintenance.

(3) The alarm is a safety instrument with acousto-optic display function, and should be installed in a place where the staff can easily see and hear, so as to eliminate hidden dangers in time.

(4) There should be no strong electromagnetic field around the alarm (such as high-power motors and transformers).

(5) The installation position of the indoor probe should be different from the density of the gas to be measured. When the measured gas density is less than the air density, the probe should be installed 30cm away from the roof with the downward direction; Instead, the probe should be installed 30 cm above the ground, with the direction upward.
