The 5th Zhuhai Folk Art Parade

The parade will be held on February 19 1 10, and the location will be moved back to Jiuzhou City in Chittagong from the last sports center. The parade route is along Jingshan Road until the intersection of Jiuzhou Avenue. The procession will last about 1 half an hour to 2 hours, and there will be more than 20 floats in the procession. In addition to the local characteristic team of our city's brand, some characteristic teams will be introduced from other places to participate in the parade.

Organizers plan to show three highlights in this grand parade. First, regional folk art exchanges are closer and deeper. Second, the artistry has been further improved. Third, while fully demonstrating local folk art resources in Zhuhai, introduce more excellent folk art programs at home and abroad to further enhance the brand image and influence of Zhuhai folk art parade.

2011February 19 10, the 5th Zhuhai Quyi Parade was staged in Jingshan Road, Jida, Zhuhai, marking a lively and festive end to the Spring Festival in Zhuhai.

There are 8 floats and 23 performance squares from various districts and functional areas in Zhuhai, including 8 local squares in Zhuhai 18 and 5 performance squares in surrounding cities. There are 1500 cast members, except for 18 original Zhuhai non-legacy projects, such as Sanzao Crane Dance, Doumen Water Wedding, Mud Fish Dressing and Dry Affairs Floating Color.

Zhanjiang participated in this grand parade for the first time, and they brought the national intangible cultural heritage project "Dragon Dance". It is an important part of the enduring folk customs and entertainment activities in the large square of East Island and even Leizhou Peninsula. People's Dragon Dance is known as "the first in the East". During the performance, dozens to hundreds of young adults are connected with the human body, forming a long dragon, in which people are dragons and dragons are people. In the deafening sound of gongs and drums and trumpets, the dragon looks up, its body rolls and its tail swings vigorously, showing a unique island color and strong local flavor.

The parade behind the float No.1 "Future Star" is called "World Party", with actors from more than 20 countries on five continents, including Brazil, Russia, the Philippines and Kenya. Neat dress, neat pace, lively and enthusiastic performances, and pure foreign music seem to bring citizens to another country.

Although the weather is not beautiful and the spring rain is continuous, early in the morning, people flocked from all directions to the place where the parade was held at the intersection of Jiuzhou City and Jiuzhou Avenue on Jingshan Road in Jida. People watching along the way were crowded on both sides of the road, and everyone was immersed in expectation and joy. Some parents took their children to Jiuzhou City around 8 o'clock, hoping to occupy the "favorable terrain" as soon as possible to watch the parade, and the whole family enjoyed a happy moment.

In the morning 10, two dragons, one gold and one silver, symbolizing good luck, danced after the closing ceremony, which opened the prelude to the grand parade. The dragon dance performance comes from the Longteng Lion Dance Team in Doumen District. This is their fifth time to participate in the Zhuhai Folk Art Parade. Dragons fly up and down from time to time, and dragons play with pearls from time to time. In just a few minutes, I expressed my best wishes for the motherland's prosperity, national security, good weather, and great development in Zhuhai.

The float named "Star of the Future" in Hengqin New District leads the crowd to take the lead. The "Dolphin" prances with its head held high, implying the high fighting spirit of Hengqin New District to chase Wan Li through the wind and waves. The upcoming landmark building exhibition makes people look forward to this vibrant new city. On the float, Chimelong mascot families such as auspicious rabbit and Bobo tiger waved to the audience from time to time, and their playful and lovely appearance was very attractive. Accompanied by floats, the tour phalanx is composed of 120 actors from more than 20 countries on five continents, which shows a diversified national culture and customs, but the clever and lively interpretation is still lacking. "Internationalization" lineup and performance content fully demonstrated Hengqin's high-end positioning as the first close cooperation demonstration zone of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao in China, facing the world and leading the future.

The six rare animals brought by Changlong Group stole the limelight. Like "Little Star", Bengal tigers, snow tigers, rabbits with drooping ears and rabbits with flowers were warmly welcomed before they appeared, and citizens who found their "traces" rushed to take photos with them. In order to prevent the little stars from catching cold, the staff put on red or yellow cotton-padded jackets, which were festive and lovely. At the official appearance, the little star held by the float staff staged an interesting picture of "Tiger and Rabbit Walking Together", which meant to bid farewell to the peaceful Year of the Tiger and usher in the auspicious Year of the Rabbit. Although the spring rain is continuous, many citizens don't care about holding an umbrella and using the lens to freeze every happy moment. Five folk art performance teams from Hong Kong, Macau, Zhanjiang, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and other regions also made wonderful appearances, including "Dragon Dance", a national intangible cultural heritage project with distinctive features in Zhanjiang, and "Wing Chun Boxing" in Jiangmen.

After the floats with the theme of dragon boat racing and wave chopping in Doumen District, phalanxes such as "Wanghuo", "Doumen in Water Town", "Opera Charm" and "majestic gongs and drums" appeared one after another, and non-legacy items such as water wedding in Doumen, mud fish, lotus color, gongs and drums cabinet and Cantonese opera appeared one after another, and Hongquan and Lotus Dragon Dance also appeared in the parade for the first time. With The Journey to the West as the theme, the number of people drifting in color reached 10. In Gone with the Wind, Tang Priest, the Monkey King and other figures float in the air in "Xiangyun" respectively, which is both breathtaking and beautiful.

Floats and phalanxes in Jinwan District are reminiscent of auspicious white cranes. The float is mainly made of lucky birds and aerospace science and technology. Hundreds of white pigeons were released at the scene, symbolizing the belief and ambition of swimming in Tianyu, which caused quite a stir at the scene. The intangible cultural heritage project Sanzao Crane Dance runs through three performance squares in Jinwan District. In "Lion Crane in Spring", auspicious white cranes, lively and lovely baby cranes and lion awakening celebrate the Spring Festival happily, which makes people fondle it. Among them, the "leading crane" is still 80-year-old Chen. He has been promoting the precious intangible cultural heritage on the parade platform for many years, which is touching.

As the main city, the floats participating in the Lantern Festival parade in Xiangzhou District are unique: like a moving hanging garden, the main shapes on it are Sijunzi, Lanting, Qushui Liuxiang, Goose Pond, Meilan Bamboo Chrysanthemum, as well as literati, ladies and bookworms. I hope to reproduce the historical and cultural connotation of Xiangshan carried by the "Stone Carvings on the Cliff of Xishi". Secondly, the original scene dance "Lan Ting Ya Ju" in Xiangzhou District beautifully shows the theme of the float and embodies the charm of Xi Shi's "Lan Yi Ting". Phoenix Chicken Dance, one of the representative works of municipal intangible cultural heritage, as well as Northeast Yangko, Northwest Waist Drum and Hainan Bamboo Dance, which appeared in the World Expo, showed the multicultural of Zhuhai's immigrant cities, especially the beloved cartoon images such as Babu Panda and Wukong, and walked with many foreign friends living in Zhuhai, showing Zhuhai's elegance as an international city.

Dragon Dance in Leizhou Shentang, Zhanjiang is the soul of folk dance in Leizhou Peninsula, with distinct rhythm, strong drums, magnificent momentum and inspiring people. Yesterday, at the scene of the 5th Zhuhai Folk Art Parade, Zhuhai citizens were lucky enough to witness the performance of this country's intangible cultural heritage. Dragon dance originated in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties and has been passed down for more than 20 generations for hundreds of years. The Dragon Dance in Shentang originated in Jiaqing period of Qing Dynasty (1523). The villagers in Shentang began to celebrate the newly-built Shentang Market by local official Chen Shikai with dragon dances, and reveled on August 15 and 16 of the Mid-Autumn Festival. In today's harmonious society, both Zhanjiang and Leizhou attach great importance to the construction of folk culture. In order to explore the 500-year-old traditional cultural heritage, build a cultural brand and break the old form, Shentang has conducted a brand-new rehearsal guidance on "Dragon Dance" from clothing to action without changing the original flavor of folk art, so that it integrates strength, art and action.

Jiangmen City, which participated in the military parade for the second time, will continue to show Jiangmen's martial arts style and bring the famous "Wing Chun Boxing" phalanx after sending 50 people's "Cai Lifo Boxing" on 20 10. Nowadays, Wing Chun Boxing is listed in the list of intangible cultural heritage protection projects in Guangdong Province, which is an important local culture in Heshan with profound cultural heritage.

In addition, the strange wooden dragon in the dance also has a strong flavor, which will attract people's attention every time it appears.
