6-step cleaning paint brush
1, get the tools ready.
Before cleaning the paint brush, we need to prepare all tools, including combs, latex gloves, newspapers, three plastic bottles, paint thinner, plastic bags, goggles and masks, which are indispensable.
2. arm yourself and protect the work area
Wear goggles, masks and latex gloves to prevent paint from splashing on yourself. Spread newspapers in the work area to avoid pollution caused by paint dripping. Spread paper towels in another area to form a simple drying device. Remember to lay a few layers so that the paint brush can dry up later.
3. Prepare thinner.
Fill three plastic bottles prepared in advance with paint thinner, and then brush the excess paint attached to the paint brush onto the original paint can with a comb.
Step 4 clean the paint brush
Soak the paint brush in the first plastic bottle for 5 minutes, then take it out and put it in a dry place to dry. Remember not to squeeze the paint brush too hard and keep changing places until there is less thinner on the paper towel. Then repeat the above actions in the second and third plastic bottles until the diluent becomes clean.
5. Absorb excess diluent.
The thinner is in a relatively clean state, indicating that the paint brush has been basically cleaned. Squeeze the excess thinner attached to the paint brush into the plastic bottle by hand, then suck it dry with a paper towel, and pat the palm with the paint brush until no paint spills.
6. Place the brush.
Smooth the paint brush with a small comb, and finally dry it with a hair dryer. Put the paint brush in a plastic bag for next use.
