Qian has stopped playing chess recently, but Baguio is still passing on old poems.

Jade bureau smiles infinitely in his new year, and poplars are sad today.

Vernacular translation:

With his death, Zheng Qian's pastel painting has become a masterpiece. Although Cao Ba is still a painter, he is already white. Ah, since Gong Zheng died, where is the real scenery under this sky? Although General Cao is still here, no one in this world knows how to pay attention!

About the author:

Du Fu (7 12-770), with beautiful words, is a great realistic poet in the Tang Dynasty, and is also called "Du Li" with Li Bai. Originally from Xiangyang, Hubei Province, he moved to Gongxian County, Henan Province. In order to distinguish Li Shangyin, Du Mu and Xiao Du Li, Du Fu and Li Bai are also called Da Du Li, and Du Fu is often called Lao Du.

As a teenager, Du Fu traveled to wuyue and Zhao Qi successively, during which he also visited Luoyang. After thirty-five, I came first and last in Chang 'an. Later, he presented gifts to the emperor and presented them to the nobles. The frustration of officialdom witnessed the extravagance and social crisis of the upper class in the Tang Dynasty.

In the 14th year of Tianbao (755), the Anshi Rebellion broke out, Tongguan fell, and Du Fu moved to many places. In the second year of Gan Yuan (759), Du Fu abandoned his official position and went to Sichuan. Creative background:

These two poems were written by Du Fu when he lived in Kuizhou in the first year of Tang Daizong Dali (766), because he missed his old friend. Yellow River Note: "It is correct that Liang was compiled in the first year of Dali according to his death in the second year of Guangde (764)."

Gong Zheng in the first sentence "Gong Zheng's pastel painting follows the long night" is an honorific title for Zheng Qian. Zheng Qian, a good friend of Du Fu, was versatile and accomplished in poetry, calligraphy and painting, especially in landscape painting. This sentence uses a long night as a metaphor for death, because people are buried underground after death and never see the sun, which is very vivid. Gong Zheng's color photos became masterpieces with the long night. This sentence is full of sadness.

The second sentence "Danqing in Caoba has a bald head" is a famous painter in Caoba and an expert in horse painting. He is also good at portraits, animals and others. Du Fu wrote in "Dan Qing gave General Cao Ba": "The road to the end, no one is more clear, no one is poorer.

From the earliest time, I have been reading records all day? ? (sleepy, depressed) haunts him. "Cao Ba was poor all his life, loved art and didn't seek fame and fortune. Du Fu not only praised Cao Ba's noble quality and lofty spirit, but also lamented his life experience.
