History of China Automotive Engineering Society

The predecessor of China Society of Automotive Engineering is the Automotive Engineering Branch of China Society of Mechanical Engineering, which was established in Changchun, 1963. 1March, 985, approved by the State Commission for Economic Restructuring, it became a national society and joined the China Association for Science and Technology. 1983 co-sponsored and organized the Pacific International Automotive Engineering Conference (APRC) with the automotive engineering societies of the United States, Japan, Korea, Australia and Indonesia. 1984 joined Fisda as an executive director. 1991September, the institute was approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs as a legal entity.

SAE-China, founded in 1963, is a national academic organization voluntarily formed by automobile science and technology workers in China. It belongs to China Association for Science and Technology and is a non-profit social organization. He is a member and director of FISTA; It is one of the initiators of International Pacific Automotive Engineering Conference (IPC) (now renamed Asia Pacific Automotive Engineering Conference /APRC). After more than 40 years of development, China Automotive Engineering Society has become an indispensable force to promote the healthy and sustainable development of the automobile industry, and has been recognized by the automobile industry, all walks of life, government departments and scientific and technological personnel at home and abroad. At present, China Automotive Engineering Society has more than 20 professional branches, and has established business guidance relations with provincial automotive engineering societies. At present, it has tens of thousands of individual members and hundreds of group members. China Automotive Engineering Society is an important force for China automobile industry to spread new ideas, exchange new technologies and publicize new concepts, and it is also an important bridge to enhance international automobile industry exchanges.
