This set of sign language * * * has a total of 48 words, which basically covers the basic actions required by special operations and can be mainly divided into the following categories.

Express one's identity

"Adult": Arms extended to the side, hands raised to arm height, palms down.

"Zi": The arm is extended to the side, the elbow is bent, and the palm is fixed down at the waist.

"Female": the palm of your hand is facing the chest, and the fingers are separated into bowls, indicating the female chest.

"Hostage": Holding the neck by hand means being held hostage.

"Commander": The index finger, middle finger and ring finger are straight side by side and placed horizontally on the other arm.

Displays the type and location of the weapon.

"pistol": the thumb and forefinger are straight, 90 degrees, posing as a pistol.

"automatic weapon": fingers bend into a grip and sweep up and down on the chest, just like playing a guitar.

"Doorway": Use your index finger to open a rectangle from bottom to top, to the left and then down, representing the shape of the doorway.

"Window": use your index finger to close the rectangle from bottom to top, to the left, and then down.

"Assemble": Hold your fingers in a fist shape, hold them high above your head, erect your index finger vertically, and turn around slowly.

"Push": elbow bends, forearm points to the ground, fingers close together, and swings forward from behind.

"Retreat": the arm is vertically downward, and the fist is swung backwards.

"Hurry up": Make a fist with both hands, then bend your elbow and lift your arm up and down.

"Cover me": Put your hands on your head and cover the crown with your palms.

"Sniper found": Finger bent, like holding a cylindrical object in front of your eyes, just like a sniper looking through a sight.

At present, with the gradual revision and improvement of the military sign language of the People's Liberation Army, only a few military sign languages used by special forces in the past are being used by our infantry units because of their concise and clear movements.
