The Ministry of Public Security issued a new household registration policy.

Beijing 1 1 month 18 (Reporter Zou Wei, Wei Xu) Vice Minister of Public Security Huang Ming recently said at the symposium on the reform of the household registration system of the Ministry of Public Security that public security organs at all levels should accurately grasp the requirements of the central policy, actively clean up the existing household registration policy and supporting policies in related fields in conjunction with relevant departments, conduct in-depth investigation, demonstration and evaluation, and lay a solid foundation for studying and formulating relevant reform measures.

According to the requirements of the Ministry of Public Security, local public security organs will promote the standardization of household registration management, improve the population registration system, the normalized inspection and supervision system and the household registration management responsibility system, effectively improve the quality and efficiency of household registration management services, and accelerate the realization of accurate and unique national household registration and citizenship numbers.

At the same time, local public security organs will promote the informatization construction of household registration management, speed up the upgrading of population information management system, speed up the construction and improvement of the national population basic information database, further promote the renewal of resident identity cards and the registration of fingerprint information, ensure the comprehensive and accurate basic information, and gradually realize the integration and sharing of information across departments and regions.

Local public security organs will also promote the professional construction of household registration management, strengthen policy research, constantly improve the professional level of household registration management, and strive to build a high-quality professional household registration management team to better meet the needs of the current household registration system reform and population service management.

Huang Ming said that public security organs at all levels should further clarify the development direction, identify key issues, propose solutions and formulate specific measures on the basis of thoroughly understanding the spirit of the central authorities and accurately grasping the local conditions, so as to ensure that the reform of the household registration system is compatible with the development of new urbanization and linked with relevant supporting reforms, and earnestly safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the people. Under the unified leadership of the Party committee and government, we should establish and improve the consultation and cooperation mechanism between departments, strengthen the follow-up evaluation, supervision and guidance of the household registration system reform, make careful arrangements and pay close attention to implementation, and ensure that all measures take root and all reforms are promoted in an orderly manner.
