I think this move is really inappropriate, because not all employees want to work overtime, and overtime is synonymous with squeezing. Workers not only have the right to rest and get paid, but also can fight against the company for their legitimate rights and interests. Because they can become more independent people and express their true thoughts.

Many companies really need employees to work overtime, and they also hope that employees can work overtime voluntarily, because volunteering is one of the conditions for legal overtime. But many employees have no motivation to work overtime because they have their own lives. Inspur software's slogan of encouraging overtime triggered a heated discussion. Is it inappropriate to openly advocate overtime? I think this kind of behavior is inappropriate, so there are three reasons:

First, this move will arouse our disgust and anger.

I think so because advocating overtime is a particularly sensitive matter, and it may also have a more negative impact on employees. For the vast majority of ordinary people, we don't want the company to force overtime, because such behavior will make us hate. It is really inappropriate for the company to openly advocate overtime.

Second, this move is an infringement on the legitimate rights and interests of workers.

Many companies don't pay overtime pay to their workers after forced overtime, and they also hope to evade their responsibilities. Therefore, many workers are unwilling to work overtime for the company and do not want their legitimate rights and interests to be violated. Inspur's behavior not only lacks reasonable care for employees, but also leads employees to hate the company more, because advocating overtime will harm the interests of workers.

Third, this move does not conform to the trend of the times.

Another reason why this move is out of date is that it really runs counter to the trend of the times and it cannot win the support of more people. Because we advocate independent work more and more, we also hope to be more free in our work. But working overtime will limit our freedom and lead to more depression, so this move is not in line with the trend.
