Basic situation of Wangcun Town

Wangcun Town has jurisdiction over 18 villages, 101 villager groups, 6,099 farmers, an agricultural population of 27,655, 14 town units, and a non-agricultural population of 466. The town's leading industries are fruits, vegetables, livestock and agricultural and sideline products processing. Among them, the fruit and vegetable industry has achieved some village-wide breakthroughs and regional advancement. The orchard area is 22,000 acres, and various types of vegetables are planted 13,000 acres. The grain-to-economic ratio is 4: 6, among which 6 villages in Henan were adjusted to 3:7. In 2005, the fiscal revenue reached 3.41 million yuan, the comprehensive output value of township enterprises reached 220 million yuan, and the average per capita net income of farmers reached more than 1,943 yuan.
