This flow control is implemented in two stages:

The first stage: the airport toll station closes 8 lanes to the left in the exit direction (to Baiyun Airport) and 6 lanes to the left in the entrance direction (to the urban area);

The second stage: the airport toll station closes 7 lanes on the right side of the exit direction (to Baiyun Airport), 4 lanes on the right side of the entrance direction (to Guangzhou) and 2 lanes on the left side of the entrance direction (to Huaguan Expressway).

During the implementation of traffic control, the toll plaza will increase outward toll lanes in both directions, specifically, three lanes will be added in the entrance direction and five lanes will be added in the exit direction.

The second expressway of Baiyun Airport is an important part of Guangzhou expressway network. The whole section is located in Guangzhou, passing Huadu, Baiyun, Huangpu and Tianhe from north to south. The total length of the line is 46.65 kilometers. The starting point of the project is located in the south of Fuli Jingang City, Huadong Town, Huadu District (connected with the north extension line of the airport expressway), and the end point is located in the Olympic Sports Interchange, Huancheng Road, Tianhe District. It is the second expressway from Guangzhou to the airport and the new north exit of Guangzhou.
