I was a little curious and asked, why do students love studying geography so much? He blinked, smiled and said: Because geography is so interesting. This is not true at all. In my opinion, those students really like geography. Whenever the students chat with me about various geographical issues, I can see the innocence and joy shining in their eyes. , the light of seeking knowledge. But in our country, geology is really an embarrassing subject. According to the division of disciplines in our country, physical geography should be a science subject and human geography should be a liberal arts subject. However, in high school, geography is considered a liberal arts subject, but during the college entrance examination, geography departments in universities recruit science candidates. It is really embarrassing that people who like geography classes in high school cannot apply for the geography major when they enter college. My favorite subjects since childhood are geography and Chinese composition. Although many people think that geography education in middle school is just rote memorization, I have loved reading and drawing maps since I was a child. Looking at the exquisite maps, the feeling in my heart is like falling in love with a girl when I first fell in love, sweet and a little touching. But when I was admitted to college, I didn’t dare to apply for the Department of Geography because I heard that geography was an unpopular major and it was difficult to find a job. I had to either join the geological team or study in a normal school and teach in a middle school. Obviously, it was not as advanced as finance or computer science. But I still couldn't let go of my love for maps. After several years of wandering around, I finally worked in the urban planning industry related to geography, and my daily work was inseparable from maps.
