202 1 national fishing ban is to implement strict fishing management in key waters of the Yangtze river basin. Productive fishing is completely prohibited in the aquatic biological reserve in the Yangtze River basin, and the productive fishing of natural fishery resources is completely prohibited in key waters such as the main stream and important tributaries of the Yangtze River, large Tongjiang lakes and designated areas of the Yangtze River estuary within the time limit prescribed by the state.

In order to strengthen the protection, proliferation, development and rational utilization of fishery resources, develop artificial breeding, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of fishery producers, promote the development of fishery production and meet the needs of socialist construction and people's life.
