Dongba dwellings

Dongba folk houses are located in Dongba Township along Nujiang Gorge in Zuogong County, Qamdo Prefecture, Tibet, with a history of more than 600 years. The architecture of Dongba folk houses combines different national elements. The whole building takes the patio as the organization center, and it is closed around. Some sloping roofs on both sides are covered with glazed tiles, and the lifelike Shuanglong sculpture lies on the roof. At the same time, cranes, flowers, birds, phoenixes and golden toads, which are common in Chinese mainland, can also be seen in the painting and decoration of the internal and external walls of buildings. Compared with the general Tibetan architecture, the windows in the house are much larger, and the decorative carvings of the window frames are also exquisite.

Pagbalha Shenhu

Pagbalha Shenhu Scenic Area is located in Xueba Village, Zhayu Town, 78km away from Zuogong County. It consists of Shenhu Lake and its surrounding winter mountain, Lunzhu Temple, Bugutang grassland, village head swamp pool area, natural caves, strange trees and rocks, pine, poplar, cypress, cloud and fir forest area. Shenhu covers an area of about 530,000 square meters.

The living Buddha of Qiangbalin Temple in Qamdo has a tradition of coming here to worship the lake, and the reincarnation of pagbalha, the living Buddha of Qiangbalin Temple, also came here to view the lake, hence the name pagbalha Shenhu.

Zuogong three major temples

The important religious sites and three temples in Zuogong County are concentrated in Tiantuo Town, 46 kilometers away from Zuogong County. Among them, the largest Zuogong Temple is located in Yazhong Village where Tiantuo Town is located. It looks like Potala Palace, built on Elephant Trunk Hill. Tuka Temple and Tiantuo Temple are located on the hillside on both sides of Tiantuo Village, facing each other across the river. There are many national historical relics in these three temples, among which Tiantuo Temple is the most important. The wooden tires, clay sculptures and golden bodhisattvas of this temple are of great archaeological and ornamental value.

Zhonglinka ancient tombs

Zhonglinka Ancient Tombs are located at 1 10 km from Zuogong County. Cultural relics include stone bowls, stone pins, stone hoes, stone shovels and other tools of life and production. Among them, the sarcophagus tomb with a huge lineup is the most famous. According to preliminary calculations, it belongs to the Neolithic Age. This sarcophagus tomb covers an area of more than 500 mu, and the stones embedded in the walls several meters high are too big for more than 10 people to lift.
