What are the characteristics of China People's Political Consultative Conference?

China People's Political Consultative Conference is a patriotic United front organization of the people of China, and an important institution for multi-party cooperation and political consultation led by the Communist Party of China (CPC). The nature of the United front is the fundamental feature of CPPCC, which runs through its organizational composition, membership structure, activity principles and discussion methods.

The main features of CPPCC are as follows: First, in politics, patriotism and socialism are the political basis of socialist workers and patriots who support socialism in mainland China, while patriotism and support for the reunification of the motherland are the political basis of compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and overseas Chinese, forming the most extensive patriotic United front organization. Second, organizationally, we should represent and accommodate all parties, personages without party affiliation, people's organizations, ethnic minorities, compatriots from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, overseas Chinese and patriots from all walks of life in the patriotic United front to the maximum extent.
