Go grading rule

The level of Go players includes stages and grades. Grade and rank are the marks that show the level of Go players. From low to high, they are: amateur, amateur and professional. The amateur stage consists of stages, which can be divided into 1, 2-25, 1 max. However, only seven grades (1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 * *) are printed on the grade certificate.

Players can decide whether to upgrade or skip a level according to the number of wins, and the level above 1 is the level.

If you want to be an amateur of 1 5, you can get it as long as you participate in the promotion competition organized by the district and county sports departments and get a certain winning rate in a certain group. Amateur paragraph 6 and amateur paragraph 7 are much more difficult.

The amateur champion in the sixth paragraph must be an amateur chess player who has participated in the provincial and even national amateur Go competitions and won the top six. The level of these players is obviously better than the standard amateur 5 paragraphs; The winner of the seventh amateur paragraph must participate in the international amateur Go competition and win the top three.

Amateur 1 to Amateur 5 certificates are issued by local chess institutes and sports management departments at the same level. The certificates of amateur paragraphs 6 and 7 are issued by the Chinese Chess Academy designated by the State Sports General Administration; There are also a few retired professional players who usually participate in various amateur competitions as amateur six-stage players, which is also allowed and accepted.
