Irregular operation

Yang Yi (pseudonym), a hemodialysis patient in Dongtai People's Hospital, recalls that dialysis patients usually enter the hemodialysis room at 7: 40 in the morning. Before this, the nurse will first disassemble the disposable puncture needle for puncture, distribute it and put it on each dialysis machine. Yang Yi said there was dust on the dialysis machine. "If you touch it with your hand, it's all black." Sometimes the last patient even splashes blood when using it.

A patient's family said that once she told the nurse, the nurse replied impatiently, "What does it matter?"

Yang Yi also revealed that although patients with hepatitis B and hepatitis C are dialyzed with ordinary patients in the hemodialysis room, sometimes the machines in the isolation area are broken, and patients in the isolation area will be put on the dialyzers in the adjacent ordinary areas. After the machines in the isolation area are repaired, the machines used by positive patients will continue to be used by ordinary patients.

The above phenomenon mentioned by the patient obviously violates the "Management Standard for Hemodialysis Rooms in Medical Institutions" issued by the former Ministry of Health on 20 10. Article 30 of the Code requires that the surfaces of dialysis machines, dialysis supplies and other equipment and facilities should be wiped and disinfected after each dialysis. Suitable for patients with hepatitis B, hepatitis C, etc. In the specification, it is clear that hemodialysis should be carried out by special plane in their respective isolation rooms or areas, and the treatment rooms or treatment areas should not be mixed with hemodialysis machines.

About three or four years ago, the hemodialysis room of Dongtai People's Hospital was moved from the seventh floor of the emergency department to the third floor of the newly-built inpatient area B. Some infected people rented a house near the hospital for dialysis and were asked by the landlord to move out.

After learning that he was infected, Yang Yi never went home to have dinner with his parents. Sometimes parents will call and ask him if he will come back. "I said I wouldn't go back and I wouldn't let them wait. I will eat here (hospital). "

The atmosphere in the hemodialysis room is also much more depressing than before. Yang Yi said that although many patients suffer from renal failure or even uremia, they have gradually accepted this situation after such a long time, so they still talked and laughed in the hemodialysis room before. Almost all the patients interviewed said that they don't care about compensation, and they hope that the hospital can provide "free treatment for hepatitis C for life" because they are worried about the recurrence of the disease or reinfection after dialysis.

Many infected people come from rural areas, and many patients like Ren Liqun and Chen Mingguo are already heavily in debt. "I know that 95% of them can't relapse, but we can't guarantee that I am not within 5%, and I will look down on it then." Ren Liqun said.
