Everyone does his best and works hard. The most important thing for volunteers is to cultivate compassion, always be kind, give people joy, let the seeds of merit spread, and volunteer. It seems that they are for others, but in fact they will benefit themselves in the end.

1. What are temple volunteers

Temple volunteers are groups who voluntarily contribute their time, energy and skills in temples based on their love and practice of Buddhism; Being a volunteer often comes from some kind of morality, belief, conscience, compassion and sense of responsibility. It is the dedication of mind and life, and the giving of wisdom and time. Temple volunteers have five characteristics: voluntary, altruistic, unpaid, compulsory and organized.

1. voluntariness: volunteers must be of their own will and have the right to choose; Becoming a volunteer is completely spontaneous and conscious, without any compulsion. Volunteers also have the right to terminate volunteer activities and quit volunteer organizations at any time.

2. Altruism: Volunteers stress the spirit of service, giving priority to dedication and altruism, and should not proceed from self-interest.

3. Free of charge: Volunteers should not be accompanied by the expectation of external remuneration. Volunteer activities usually do not receive labor remuneration, and there is no relationship between employment and being employed.

4. Obligation: If a volunteer is a disciple of Sambo, it is the duty of every Buddha to protect Sambo.

5. Organization: Volunteers must abide by the volunteer code and accept a certain degree of management and restraint, so that volunteer activities can be carried out in an orderly, efficient and legal manner.

2. How to be a good volunteer

1. Love language: The most beautiful and easy to do in the world is "love language". But most people are reluctant to speak well and praise others. If we want to be a good volunteer, the first step is to love language and say more good words. "A kind word is warm in three winters", and there are not too many good words.

2. Colleagues: They can put themselves in the other person's shoes, regard the sufferings of others as their own and feel the same. If we can be good at understanding the meaning of "colleagues", we will certainly inspire the enthusiasm and mind to help others and tolerate others.

3. Lixing: "It is convenient for others and convenient for yourself"; "Give people joy, everyone is happy"; "Give people confidence and great strength"; "Give people hope and have a bright future". We help all beings with our hearts, and maybe we can help others through the difficulties with a little effort.

4. Give up: Give up, give up, and you will get what you want. Some people may not understand that "giving is happier and more blessed than receiving"; If we can be a volunteer who is happy to give up, even without expecting anything in return, we will get many incredible responses, because cause and effect never owe anyone, and good cause will inevitably lead to good results!

As a disciple of Sambo, volunteers should set an example everywhere, be strict with others, be lenient with others, be modest and polite to anyone, and do not oppose others. Those who are grateful will not oppose others. Having something in your heart not only hinders yourself but also hinders others. You should always imagine it from the standpoint of others. I hope that other people's ideas and personalities will change. First, we should seek for ourselves and change ourselves. As long as our heart changes, the other person will be the one who has achieved himself.

5, melt yourself, don't be self-expanding and opinionated. If we express ourselves, we will leave the Buddha's heart, and the Buddha's heart is without me. We should learn from the Buddha's compassion and wisdom. "Compassion has no enemies, and wisdom can't worry."

"Being grateful is the first thing, and benefiting others is self-interest. Do your best first, don't fight for you and me. "There is always joy in the heart, and I can't forget Zen Yue."

Have confidence and respect for the three treasures, and never make jokes about your family, Master or Buddhism. Don't say rude words, don't say harsh words, respect others means respect yourself.

3. Five realms of volunteering

1. Help others and be happy.

This is the deepest and most direct feeling of being a volunteer for the first time. After occasionally helping others, I feel that others are particularly happy because of their good deeds.

2. Care for yourself and others.

Volunteers are loving groups. They expand their love for themselves into love and care for friends, family and colleagues, and benefit people around them.

3. As a volunteer, the heart is a volunteer.

No matter where you are, no matter where people go, you will leave the volunteer service place and stay everywhere, and your hands will be fragrant, providing services to people in need in society.

5. Life is endless and dedication is endless.
