What is the rank of inspector?

The ranks of supervisors are divided into thirteen levels, namely, chief supervisor, first-class deputy supervisor, second-class deputy supervisor, first-class senior supervisor, second-class senior supervisor, third-class senior supervisor, fourth-class supervisor, second-class supervisor, third-class supervisor, fourth-class supervisor, fifth-class supervisor and sixth-class supervisor. Article 26 stipulates that "director of the National Supervisory Commission is the chief inspector".

According to the administrative level of the head of the discipline inspection team of the Audit Office, we can also infer the level of inspector reform. According to the relevant provisions of the Civil Service Law and other laws and regulations, a bachelor's degree is designated as a first-class clerk, while the Ombudsman Law requires that the Ombudsman should have a bachelor's degree or above. Then the six-level supervisor should at least correspond to the first-level clerk. However, there is no one-to-one correspondence from the perspective of administrative real job matching or rank reform.

Supervisors should safeguard the dignity and authority of the Constitution and laws, take facts as the basis, take laws as the criterion, perform their duties objectively and fairly, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of the parties. Supervisors shall perform their duties in strict accordance with the prescribed authority and procedures, adhere to democratic centralism, and collectively study major issues. The supervisory organ shall establish and improve the supervisory system and mechanism for supervisory personnel to ensure that the power is strictly restricted. Supervisors should consciously accept organizational supervision, democratic supervision, social supervision and public opinion supervision. Supervisors perform their duties according to law and are protected by law, and are not subject to interference by administrative organs, social organizations and individuals.
