Regulations of Nanjing Municipality on Punishment of Garbage Classification

The provisions of Nanjing Municipality on compulsory classification and punishment of domestic garbage are as follows:

1. If an individual fails to put domestic garbage in a classified manner according to the prescribed time, place and method, and refuses to listen to dissuasion, the administrative department of urban management shall impose a warning or impose a fine of not more than 200 yuan.

If the unit fails to classify the domestic garbage at the designated place, the competent department of urban management administration shall order it to make corrections; If the circumstances are serious, a fine of not less than 50,000 yuan but not more than 500,000 yuan shall be imposed.

2. If the person in charge of management fails to set up the domestic waste collection container according to the configuration specification of domestic waste sorting facilities, a fine of more than 1,000 yuan and less than 10,000 yuan shall be imposed; If the classified domestic garbage is mixed, a fine of 1000 yuan or more and 1 10,000 yuan or less shall be imposed; Units or individuals that do not meet the requirements for collecting and transporting classified domestic garbage shall be fined between 2,000 yuan and 20,000 yuan.

4. The domestic garbage collection and transportation unit has not set up a vehicle monitoring system, or failed to maintain its normal operation; Failing to establish a ledger, or failing to upload the source, type, quantity, destination, classification quality and other information of domestic waste to the domestic waste management information system in real time. A fine of 5000 yuan to 30000 yuan shall be imposed by the administrative department of city management.

5. If the domestic waste disposal unit fails to establish a ledger, or fails to upload the information to the domestic waste management information system in accordance with the regulations, the administrative department of urban management shall impose a fine of 1 10,000 yuan but not more than 30,000 yuan.
