Zhangjiajie is located in the northwest of Hunan Province, in the hinterland of Wuling Mountain. Founded in May 1988 due to tourism, it governs Yongding and Wulingyuan districts, and Cili and Sangzhi counties. It governs 79 townships (streets) and 10 17 villages (residences), with a total area of 9,533 square kilometers and a registered population of 65,438.

It consists of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Tianzishan Nature Reserve, Suoxiyu Nature Reserve and Yang Jiajie, the first national forest park in China. The scenic area is 264.6 square kilometers. It is the first batch of world natural heritage, the first batch of geological parks in the world and the first batch of 5A-level tourist attractions in China.

Tianmenshan National Forest Park, Gene Bank of World Rare Species, Badagong Mountain National Nature Reserve, Leo, Taoist Holy Land, Mao Yan, Wanfu Hot Spring, etc. It is also beautiful and unique.
