English Introduction of Cartoon Mulan

This is a relatively short version: the story of Mulan, a young woman disguised as a man who served in the China army, inspired many paintings, songs and poems in China folklore. Although the details of this historical figure's life will be different due to the reference materials, the details of Hua Mulan's heroic achievements are always the same. Legend has it that Mulan's father received a draft notice to serve in the emperor's army. But because her father was old and ill, Mulan decided to dress herself up as a man and put on her father's armor to go to war instead of him. In the next few years, Mulan managed to keep her identity secret, because she and her comrades fought many wars to defend China from the enemy. It was not until after the battle that Mulan's comrades visited her home that they discovered her secret.
