Suqian is located in the middle of Xuzhou, Huaiyin and Lianyungang, and is the hub of the north-south waterway. There is a large flow of domestic residents. During the Southern and Northern Dynasties, northern residents moved south, established counties in China, and immigrated to China. Due to war, famine or business, there are many settlers from south to north in Suqian, especially northerners, so the language, customs and habits are different from those in Jianghuai area. The surnames of Jingnan moved from Shanxi, Liaoning, Henan, Hebei, Shandong and Anhui, and also from Jiangxi, Fujian, Zhejiang and southern Jiangsu.

Wu surname in the east, Xidou surname in the east, Luo surname in the south and Ma surname in the north are the four major surnames of Suqian. After the excavation of the Central Canal in Qing Dynasty, many surnames such as Zhuo, He, Ma, Gao, Lu, Cai, Yu, Chen, Ding, Dong, Ye, Zhang and Han appeared in the eastern part of the canal. There are many surnames such as Wang, Cao, Zhou, Zang, Luo, Luo, Su, Chen, Zhang, Lu and Xu in the western section of the Canal.

1. Address: Call your father "Da" and your mother "Ma". Usually, those who call "An" are "Anda" and "An Ma". Call uncle "Grandpa" and aunt "Auntie", such as Sir Zhong, Er Nian, Xiaoye and Xiao Nian. Call grandpa "Dad" and grandma "Grandma", and usually call them "My Dad" and "My Milk". The contemporaries of grandparents are called Da Die, Dai Nai, Er Dad, Er Nai, Xiao Di and Xiao Nai. Call grandparents "uncles and aunts" or "grandparents". Call younger brothers "brothers", such as second and third brothers. Call your younger brother "Big Brother" and "Second Brother".

2. Word: (1) Noun: noon is called "noon", and the southeast and northwest are called southeast and northwest. "burning barrels" refers to frivolous people; "Diao tou chicken" refers to people who like to take advantage; "Small brain" refers to a thoughtless person; "Fox Xia" means Xia Tian; Call corn "big"; Call crows "old scrapers" and so on. (2) Verb: "gram" has many connotations. No matter what you do, you can call it gram. For example, hitting people and eating rice can be said to be gram-good. "Death" means that someone is dead, which means being ignored and disgusted. "Empty talk": that is, telling lies and bragging. "Touch" is synonymous with "existence". For example, ask people where they are and say, "Where did you touch them?" (3) Adjective: "De-hemp" means fast, such as: "Do you want to de-hemp?" "The sea is gone": something is broken, or something can't be done. If something goes wrong. "Night dreams" describe people who speak rashly. "Come on, Pu Zhong" describes people's recklessness.

Suqian dialect is close to Mandarin, and only a few people are not allowed to speak it, such as the national "Guó", and people who travel to the west will say "Gu‰". Hong and Feng are often confused.

After dinner, men will accompany their father to talk about his career and future. Or several people get together to play poker; Ladies will help their mothers wash the dishes, and they can also prepare food for the New Year. Of course, we should watch the wonderful Spring Festival Gala while eating snacks!

On the first day of the first month: Our staple food is jiaozi, and we basically don't eat meat-everyone in our hometown says it's clean and white, and children should be good this day, otherwise they will be scolded by their parents all the year round.
