Party member's rights and obligations, and how to become party member?

An important content of Constitution of the Communist Party of China is to stipulate the rights and obligations of party member. Rights and obligations are dialectical unity. Only by earnestly fulfilling the obligations of party members can party member's rights be realized. It is party member's unshirkable duty to fulfill his obligations as a Party member and a solemn commitment to the Party organization. No obligation means no responsibility. Without obligation, party member's rights will become a blank sheet of paper. So, how can we accurately grasp party member's rights and obligations and strive to be a qualified party member? I think we should start from the following two aspects:

First, correctly fulfill the obligations of party members.

1, strengthen study and constantly improve the consciousness of fulfilling the obligations of party members.

Earnestly studying political theory, scientific culture and professional knowledge is an important obligation that party member must fulfill, and it is also the basis for party member to fully fulfill its obligations as a party member. Only by studying hard and improving his quality can party member enhance his consciousness of fulfilling his obligations as a Party member. First of all, we should seriously study Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory. Marxism–Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory are the world outlook and methodology of the proletariat and the guiding ideology and action guide of our party. At present, we should especially strengthen our study of Deng Xiaoping Theory. In contemporary China, only Deng Xiaoping Theory, who combines Marxism with the practice of contemporary China and the characteristics of the times, can solve the problem of the future and destiny of socialism. "Every one of us in party member should study hard, try to master this advanced ideological weapon, use its position, viewpoint and method to analyze and solve all kinds of complicated problems in reform, opening up and modernization, and enhance the firmness and consciousness of fulfilling the obligations of party members. Secondly, we should seriously study science, culture and professional knowledge. * * * party member should be both "red" and "expert", otherwise it will be difficult to give full play to * * * party member's vanguard and exemplary role in the practice of reform, opening up, developing socialist market economy and fulfilling Party members' obligations.

2. Strive to practice the purpose of serving the people wholeheartedly, earnestly fulfill the obligations of party members in the great practice of building a Socialism with Chinese characteristics, and serve the people wholeheartedly from the interests of the people. This is the fundamental purpose of China's * * * production party, the starting point and the highest standard of all party member's words and deeds, and a remarkable sign that China's * * * production party is different from other political parties. Comrade Mao Zedong once said: "The * * * production party is a political party that works for the interests of the nation and the people, and it has no self-interest." . The purpose of serving the people wholeheartedly is not only determined by the nature of the party, but also the concrete embodiment of the party's materialistic world outlook in the nature of the party and the objective requirement of historical materialism. Only by adhering to the Party's fundamental purpose and serving the people wholeheartedly can party member faithfully, conditionally and consistently fulfill his obligations as a Party member in the great practice of building Socialism with Chinese characteristics. Under the new historical conditions, we should emancipate our minds, explore boldly and creatively open drawers; Insist on seeking truth from facts and continuously deepen reform; We must seize the opportunity and do our best. Secondly, first suffer hardship, then enjoy pleasure, self-denial, and put the interests of the party and the people first, above all else. When personal interests conflict with people's interests, we should unconditionally obey the interests of the party and the people and sacrifice personal interests without hesitation. Third, keep close contact with the masses, actively publicize the party's line, principles and policies to the masses, and be good at turning the party's ideas into the conscious actions of the masses; When something happens, we must consult with the masses and ask them modestly; Timely reflect the opinions and demands of the masses to the party; Safeguard the legitimate interests of the masses and have the courage to fight against all kinds of behaviors that harm the interests of the masses. At present, we must resolutely oppose and overcome all kinds of negative corruption and win the trust of the people.

3, strengthen the concept of organizational discipline, and consciously accept the education, help and supervision of party organizations.

Strengthening the concept of organization and consciously abiding by the Party's discipline and national laws are the obligations that party member must fulfill, and also the important guarantee for party member to fully and faithfully fulfill his obligations as a Party member.

Only by consciously strengthening the exercise of party spirit, constantly enhancing the concept of organizational discipline, and consciously accepting the education, help and supervision of the Party organization can party member constantly discover its own gaps in the great practice of building a Socialism with Chinese characteristics, discover and correct its own shortcomings and mistakes in time, and ensure that it can earnestly fulfill its obligations as a party member and maintain the advanced nature of party member. * * * party member strengthened the concept of organizational discipline, consciously accepted the education, help and supervision of the Party organization, and ensured the full and faithful performance of Party members' obligations. He must do the following:

First, actively participate in organizational life and various meetings within the party, and carefully read party documents and party newspapers and periodicals. Only in this way can we grasp the party's principles and policies in time, improve our consciousness and level of implementing the party's policies, correct our words and deeds that do not conform to the party's principles and policies in time, and consciously accept the supervision of the party organizations.

Second, we should always report our thoughts and work faithfully to the party organizations in order to win their education and guidance. Party member must never hide his views and actions from the Party, let alone engage in double-dealing and clique activities.

Third, actively carry out self-criticism and have the courage to correct your mistakes. We should always check our performance of Party members' obligations against party member standards, be brave in admitting and correcting mistakes, and sincerely strive for and accept criticism, education and help from Party organizations and other comrades party member.

2. Correct exercise of party member's rights

The correct exercise of party member's rights, like the conscientious performance of Party members' obligations, is a necessary condition for a qualified party member. However, for a period of time, there are still some incorrect understandings and behaviors in the exercise of party member's rights, mainly in the following aspects: some people mistakenly believe that party member only needs to fulfill his obligations, which seems to be a manifestation of strong party spirit; Others transcend party member's rights and regard party member's rights as a privilege; Some are afraid of retaliation and dare not exercise their rights in party member; Some people are not good at exercising party member's rights. When exercising their rights, they don't care about the scope and occasions, and they can't get the results they deserve. * * * Under the education and supervision of the Party, party member should proceed from the fundamental interests of the Party and the people, seek truth from facts, adhere to truth and principles, and exercise the sacred rights entrusted by the Party and the people.

1, we must establish a spirit of being highly responsible for the party's cause. Our party is the vanguard of the working class that represents the fundamental interests of the people and serves the people wholeheartedly. * * * All the rights of party member should be used to better serve the Party, the interests of the people and the fundamental interests of the Party and the people. Therefore, in order to correctly exercise party member's rights in party member, we must strive to achieve the following points with a highly responsible attitude towards the party and the people: First, emancipate our minds, use our brains, and actively make suggestions for the party's work and decision-making. The Party's work must be accomplished through the joint efforts of the overwhelming majority of party member, and the Party's policies must be implemented through the creative labor of the overwhelming majority of party member. * * * party member should proceed from the interests of the party and the people, give full play to his enthusiasm, initiative and creativity, often put forward reasonable suggestions and initiatives on the party's work, and expound his views on the party's policies by attending relevant meetings and activities of the party, so as to do his duty to improve the party's work and ensure the correctness and perfection of the party's policies. Second, adhere to the truth, adhere to principles, and have the courage to safeguard the interests of the party and the people. For any party organization and party member's words and deeds that are not conducive to or even harm the fundamental interests of the party and the people, party member should dare to uphold the truth and principles. Don't use feelings instead of policies, and don't trade with principles. We should not only criticize comrades who have made mistakes and help them correct them, but also prevent ruthless attacks, even wronging and framing good people; People and things that violate the law and discipline should be exposed to the Party responsibly, and Party organizations are required to take Party discipline, political discipline and national laws as the criterion, fight against party member and incompetent cadres who violate the law and discipline, and safeguard the interests and principles of the Party.

2. Learn to analyze problems with Marxist standpoints, viewpoints and methods, distinguish right from wrong, and recognize the essence. To exercise party member's rights, we should not only have a correct motive and starting point, but also have a clear view of right and wrong and a scientific way of thinking and working, so as to achieve good results. Under the new situation, there are many new situations and problems that we need to solve. We should pay special attention to this if we want to correctly exercise party member rights in party member. For example, when we reflect the situation to the Party and make suggestions, we should make investigation and study, find out the facts, be good at seeing the essence of things through phenomena, and make correct conclusions on this basis. Don't look at the surface of things, don't be confused by the illusion of things, and don't even misrepresent them based on hearsay. Otherwise, the situation we reflect is not in line with reality, and our suggestions are worthless and even harmful to the cause of the party. For another example, when we criticize Party organizations and party member, we must distinguish right from wrong and distinguish their nature. When criticizing, we should put facts and reason, convince people by reasoning, and set out with the desire of unity. Otherwise, the expected effect may not be achieved, or even counterproductive.

Strictly abide by party discipline. Party member must exercise his rights within the scope permitted by the Party's discipline and policies. Beyond this range, it is violation of discipline. Party member's different opinions on the party's policies and resolutions can be fully expressed, but they must be raised at the party meeting or to the higher-level party organizations, and no remarks that are contrary to the party's resolutions can be publicly expressed. Once party member's own opinions are not adopted, individuals can keep them, but they are not allowed to spread discontent and engage in illegal activities. Party member has the right to criticize any party member or any organization, but it should be based on facts, and it should not be ignored, exaggerated or framed.
