Brother Dajian took off the male dragon's eyes and swallowed it in one gulp. Sister water snake took off the mother dragon's eyes and swallowed them in one gulp. They became giants, standing in the pool like two high mountains. Brother Dajian threw the sun out hard, and sister Shuishe pulled up the palm trees by the pool to hold the sun up and lift it to the sky. Later, people called this big pool and these two mountains Dajian Mountain and Shuishe Mountain. Today, every autumn, we can still see people wearing beautiful clothes, picking up bamboo poles and colored balls and coming to Sun Moon Lake to play ball-holding dance, learning the way of Dajian and Shuishe, throwing colored balls into the sky, and then holding them with bamboo poles to prevent them from falling, in order to commemorate the young heroes of Dajian and Shuishe.
