Wanrong County Museum was founded in September, 1978. Located in Dongyue Temple, Chengxi Street, Wanrong County. In 2006, he moved to the west side of the fairy hall and the main hall of Dongyue Temple, and sat west to east. It is the wing of Dongyue Temple, covering an area of 400 square meters and a building area of 330 square meters. Among them, the cultural relics warehouse and exhibition hall each account for 150 square meters, with a total investment of 330,000 yuan.

The museum belongs to Wanrong County Cultural Relics and Tourism Bureau. It is a fully funded institution with staff 10 (including 2 middle-level titles). In 2009, it was rated as a national third-class museum by National Cultural Heritage Administration. The collection of the museum is mainly obtained through archaeological excavation, collection and donation. The total number of cultural relics in the collection is 1.067 pieces, which can be roughly divided into five categories: 327 pieces of porcelain, 203 pieces of pottery, 92 pieces of bronze ware, 44 pieces of currency1.067 pieces and 46 pieces of calligraphy. Among them, there are 60 precious cultural relics (seconded by the Municipal Bureau 16), namely 9 first-class cultural relics (7 seconded by the Municipal Bureau), 2 second-class cultural relics 12 (5 seconded by the Municipal Bureau) and 39 third-class cultural relics (4 seconded by the Municipal Bureau); The cultural relics warehouse is equipped with computer monitoring, infrared alarm and other security technology prevention equipment.

In recent years, driven by the excellent situation of free opening of museums, four temporary exhibitions have been held in combination with the actual situation of our library.

2. Taking the reopening of Dongyue Temple as an opportunity, a painting and calligraphy exhibition with the theme of "Flying Clouds in the Hairs of Mahai" was held. The representative works of 50 famous painters and painters of Wanrong nationality told their profound understanding of the art of painting and calligraphy with one stroke and one painting, expressing their deep love for their hometown.

3. With the theme of "indelible images", an exhibition of historical photos of Wanrong was held, looking back at the miniature of Wanrong's development and showing the historical changes of Wanrong's face.

4. Hold an exhibition of personal paper-cut works by Feng Shuyu, the inheritor of intangible culture.
