At present, Chongqing University has four campuses: A, B, C and Huxi. Most freshmen will spend their freshman year in Huxi campus. Huxi Campus is the new campus with the shortest dormitory service life, so most freshmen are relatively happy, and the overall dormitory environment of the other three campuses is similar.

The dormitory in Huxi Campus consists of five buildings, named after Meiyuan, Zhuyuan, Songyuan, Orchid and Chrysanthemum respectively. Among them, undergraduate dormitories are located in Meiyuan, Songyuan and Lanyuan. Public areas such as halls and corridors are spacious and bright, and some dormitories are equipped with elevators.

Inside the dormitory is a standard four-person room with independent bathroom, air conditioning, balcony, independent wardrobe and water dispenser.

The accommodation conditions for graduate students are better. The master room is a double room and the doctor room is a single room. It is also equipped with a small refrigerator and a washing machine.

Compared with Huxi Campus, the public environment of these three campuses is smaller. Due to the long construction time and outdated buildings, there is a student self-help public laundry area on odd floors, which contains washing machines, dryers, shoe washers and other equipment.

Dormitories in A, B and C campuses are all four rooms, with many cabinets and large storage space, equipped with separate bathrooms and air conditioning, except for the dormitory in B area. All the dormitories are not equipped with elevators.
