Secondly, with a budget of more than 300,000 yuan, I can buy a Highlander and Crown Road for an SUV, and I can buy an Odyssey or a second-hand Senna for an MPV. Although the Ideal ONE has a wide range of configurations, both comfort and safety configurations are already equipped to the teeth.
However, all aspects related to the reliability and stability of these previous cars have passed the test of the market. These are the issues that I am more concerned about when considering a car for my dad. It’s a mature product, at least you won’t go wrong if you buy it.

On the 4th, I made an appointment with my wife to go to Linekang to pick up the car after get off work. After arriving at the store, I learned that the car was still on the road and would have to wait, so I simply went to the show car to play with the car's computer system and familiarize myself with its functional operations.
After playing for an hour, the salesperson came over and said that the car was back and could be picked up. So after I filled in the information, I went to the basement to pick up the car.

The first day
First experience of high speed
After packing up my things in the morning, I took my whole family and set off to the destination of Qinhuangdao Aranya.
I checked it before setting off. The gasoline range showed 510 kilometers, and the total with the remaining electricity was 536 kilometers.
It is ***?275?km from my home to Aranya. My plan is to turn on the assisted driving for the entire journey after getting on the highway, set the vehicle speed to ?120, and adjust the air conditioner to ?24? automatically. Turn the seat ventilation to the maximum, and wait until you reach your destination to check the remaining battery life.
When leaving the community, the car went over several speed bumps diagonally. When the suspension system was set to the comfort mode, I felt that the car had a little extra unnecessary bounce, which I found almost annoying. I don’t feel this way when I drive my father-in-law’s Q5.
As soon as I got on the highway, I turned on assisted driving. After several adjustments, I finally found a more comfortable position to hold the steering wheel under assisted driving. I put my left hand on the door armrest and gently held the steering wheel.
I have to talk about the ideal ONE passenger screen. For dads, it is not only convenient for their daughter-in-law to watch dramas, but it is also a magic tool for coaxing the baby.

I am very satisfied with the ACC? I set the following distance to ?6 on the highway and basically never stepped on the brakes along the way.
The power in the fuel mode on the highway is also full? OK, it is easy to pass a car. I don’t know if it will be more enjoyable in the pure electric mode. I look forward to the experience after returning to Beijing and fully charging.
High speed? NVH? For me, a user who has only driven fuel vehicles before, it is already very good. There is a sound from the range extender, but I think it is completely acceptable. I can’t feel it at all after playing a song. its existence. The main noise is wind noise and road noise, and this level is completely acceptable to me.
Small complaints on the first day
The car-machine system also discovered some shortcomings along the way, and I also made some small suggestions.
The glass of the ideal ONE's front windshield and front door is quite sunny even without film. After sitting in the passenger seat for an hour, my mother told me to stop at the next service area. It was too sunny and she wanted to sit in the back, even in the third row... So I decided to wait until I picked up the car. Put a film on it.
First of all, the main driving instrument feels that there are too few functions, which wastes such a large screen, especially the navigation thumbnail, which is too small. It is better to look directly at the large navigation interface in the middle.
When I turn on the navigation on the central control screen, I can't see the big clock, I can only see the small clock in the upper left corner. The problem is that this area is almost blocked by the steering wheel when I drive.
In addition, I also found a small navigation bug on the way.
Originally, I connected my mobile phone to Bluetooth to listen to music. The Bluetooth music did not conflict with the car navigation sound. When the navigation sound was played, the Bluetooth music automatically lowered the volume, and then returned to the normal volume.
But after I parked the car once in the middle service area, I found that the navigation sound could not be played when I got on the road again. To describe it, the Bluetooth music will still automatically reduce the volume when playing the navigation sound, but The navigation did not broadcast any sound.
I later tried turning on and off the navigation sound several times but still had no solution. Finally, I turned off the Bluetooth music and switched to car music before restoring the navigation sound. I hope it can be fixed OTA in the future.
I think the air volume of the seat ventilation function is too small. Even if it is adjusted to the highest gear, it is not enough. I can still feel a bit of cool breeze on my buttocks, but I don’t feel anything on my back. The seat ventilation effect of Q5? Very good, basically your back won’t sweat when you drive it in summer.
In terms of seat comfort, I don’t know if the seats in my test car have been replaced. I think the softness of the seat cushion is still on the hard side, but it is still within the acceptable range.
I read on the forum that some riders reported that the waist would be uncomfortable for a long time. I drove for nearly 4 hours today. I think my waist is fine, but my shoulders are a little uncomfortable because of the shoulder support. No, it keeps hanging. I don’t know if adding a pillow will improve it.
On the way, my wife experienced the queen’s sitting position. She was very comfortable along the way, and she praised it very much.

We arrived at the destination more than 3 hours later, check the mileage:

On the way back to Beijing tomorrow, I will pass by the Beijing checkpoint, so I can experience assisted driving on congested roads.

When I woke up in the morning, I hurriedly found a place to take some beautiful photos for Ideal?ONE? before returning to Beijing. , the car was a bit dirty, but unfortunately there was no place to wash the car in the park.

A brief comment on space
In terms of space, the trunk capacity of the Ideal ONE is pretty good even with the third row upright. I personally feel it is similar to the Highlander.
Later I tried to put my daughter’s stroller with a high view inside, but unfortunately it still couldn’t fit in, so I had to fold down a three-row seat. But overall, this space is more than adequate for a family's short-distance self-driving trip. I give it a thumbs up.

After filling up, we still have a range of 510 kilometers of gasoline. , the whole journey is 269 kilometers, the air conditioning is 24 degrees Celsius throughout the whole journey, and the seat ventilation is not turned on this time. Or turn on assisted driving as soon as you get on the highway.
Complaints on the second day
Another problem was discovered on this trip, that is, the parallel warning light on the exterior rearview mirror was on and off. It was not clear whether it was software or hardware. problem.
Also, after starting up today, there was a section of road that was continuously climbing. The range extender made an obvious clicking sound, which disappeared after a few minutes. Personally, I thought it was fine and did not have much impact.
When I locked the car and prepared to go home, I found that I couldn’t lock the car by touching the door handle, or even locking the car with the key. I tried it back and forth several times until I turned off the air conditioner in the car. I tried to lock the car successfully, but I don't know if this is the cause.
If so, then this is actually a bug. There was no one in the car at the time. If you have to confirm whether the air conditioner is turned off every time before getting out of the car and locking the car, it will greatly affect the experience. I hope there will be an OTA in the future. ?Can be optimized.
When I arrived at the Beijing checkpoint, I found that I was not far from home, and the battery was charged to ?62. I planned to use pure electric mode for the rest of the journey.
The fuel mode drove 234.5 kilometers, and the fuel consumption was 9.4 liters per 100 kilometers, which was slightly less than before.
When I got home, I ran another 30 kilometers in the pure electric mode, and the battery dropped by 25. The pure electric mode is quieter than the fuel mode, and there is no buzzing sound from the range extender at high speeds. . I plan to fully experience the pure electric mode in the city after it is fully charged tomorrow.
The third day
I went to the car wash in the community to wash my car early in the morning. The car was already extremely dirty after going back and forth on the highway. I still have to return the car today. Hand it over to the next owner cleanly.
On the Telephone APP, I saw that there was a DC charging pile in the basement of a shopping mall near my home. The price of 1.9 yuan was a bit high, but I didn’t want to go too far, so I chose it.
Charging for the first time, after studying the APP and charging pile for a long time, I finally charged it.
Charged to 24.6 degrees, cost 48 yuan, and took more than 1 hour. In the end, it took almost 10 minutes to charge.
Not very satisfied with the details
I found two small dots when charging.
The first one is that I used to control the opening and closing of the sunshade through voice. This time I used manual mode and found that I had to keep pressing it to move. As soon as I let go, it stopped. In ordinary cars, It will turn into automatic mode after long pressing for a few seconds.
The second thing is that when charging, I sat in the second row and wanted to turn on the air conditioner in the second row, but the air conditioning control area in the second row was completely dark, and there was no backlight on the buttons. I could only turn on the reading. Light to find the corresponding button, I hope that the next generation model will add backlight.
After charging, I still had a feeling. When I first came here, most of the charging piles were empty, and there were only a few electric cars charging there. By the time I finished charging, it was already noon, and many people came to the mall. Fuel vehicle owners who are eating and shopping have taken up all the remaining charging pile parking spaces, and the quality still needs to be improved.
After fully charging, the plan is to start from home and take Guangqu Road to Dawang Road, then take Jianguo Road, cross Chang'an Street to the West Third Ring Road at Gongzhufen, walk along the Third Ring Road, and then from there. Drive east on Fuxing Road until you reach the Fourth Ring Road at Sihui Bridge and then return the car to Blue Harbor.
The whole journey is about 100 kilometers. Set it to pure electric priority, adjust the driving mode to Comfort, the full air conditioning is 22 degrees Celsius, and the seat ventilation is at maximum air volume. Let’s go!
Pure electric running in urban areas is comfortable
As expected, urban areas are the ideal place for ONE to perform.
This feeling first comes from NVH. Coupled with the ideal ONE silent tires and double-layer soundproof glass throughout the car, it is so quiet when driving in the city that I don't want to turn on the music, I just want to sit inside quietly. Using its assisted driving, it takes me from point A to point B comfortably.
In terms of driving, I like to switch to sport mode on the highway, so that I can quickly overtake the large truck in front and ensure my own safety.
I like to set it to comfort mode when driving in the city. I usually drive in a Buddhist style. The ideal ONE comfort mode makes me feel particularly comfortable when driving in stop-and-go traffic in the city. On road sections, it won't jump up and down with just a click of the switch like in the sports mode.
Single pedal, really fragrant
In addition, there have been mixed reviews on kinetic energy recovery online. Some people are used to driving and say that the single pedal mode is very comfortable, while others find it very uncomfortable. It is easy to cause motion sickness.
Before driving the Ideal ONE, I belonged to the latter group. I felt that the car should use inertia to continue coasting after releasing the accelerator pedal.
But after driving it for just three days, I have only two words to comment on the single-pedal mode - it smells really good.
First of all, when driving a fuel vehicle, you need to constantly switch back and forth between the accelerator pedal and the brake pedal during stop-and-go sections, which makes your right leg easily fatigued. This is why when I drive, I would rather take a long, time-consuming and non-traffic road than take a time-saving road with traffic jam.
In the single-pedal mode, you only need to control the switch, and the brakes only need to be clicked when the car is finally parked, which greatly reduces the fatigue of the right leg.
Let’s talk about assisted driving
I drove assisted driving in the innermost lane all the way on the Third Ring Road, and the speed was set at the maximum of 80 kilometers per hour. I felt that it had advantages along the way. There are also shortcomings, but the flaws do not outweigh the advantages.
First of all, let’s talk about the advantages. I think the assisted driving of Ideal ONE is very good. I have never experienced Tesla’s Autopilot, but the assisted driving of Ideal ONE has fully satisfied my needs.
The first is ACC automatic car following. In the city, I set the car distance to 2 gears. The following distance is basically the same as my daily following distance when driving a fuel vehicle. It is very common to get jammed. few.
Of course, I have encountered malicious traffic jams several times, so even when assisted driving is turned on, you must always pay attention to the road conditions and be ready to brake with your right foot.
The second is the lane keeping ability in curves. The ideal ONE can naturally stay in the middle of the lane when turning on a roundabout without any deviation.
Today, we were traveling from east to west on the North Third Ring Road. When we reached the northwest corner, the number of cars on the ring road suddenly decreased, and the speed suddenly increased from 40km/h to the highest speed I set, 80km/h. ?km/h, and there was a big curve in front of me. I was actually very scared at the time. I held the steering wheel tightly with both hands, ready to take over at any time.
However, Ideal?ONE? still completed this corner very well without any lane deviation. This must be praised.
Then there are the shortcomings. The first is that the ACC brakes slowly and suddenly when following a car. Sometimes the car in front does not brake suddenly, but the ideal ONE will still brake hard when it is almost in front of the car in front, and sometimes it will decelerate naturally and smoothly.
I was the only one in the car at the time. I guess if my family members were in the car, they would definitely complain about my driving skills. I hope Ideal can continue to optimize this feature.
The second is the air conditioning system. The temperature in Beijing today is 34 to 5 degrees Celsius, and the body temperature is higher. The temperature is automatically set to 22 degrees Celsius, and the seats are turned on for ventilation. The car is still not cool. It can be said that it is not so hot that I sweat.
After finishing the car, I went back to the company and drove into my Camry. I set the air conditioner to 24 degrees automatically. The car became cool and comfortable after a while. I don’t know if it will be better after applying the film on the front bumper and front row. There will be improvements.
Energy consumption summary
After arriving at the basement of Linekang, I ran 103.6 kilometers in one day, with 42% of the battery left, and the power consumption was 14kW/h, which is so big I am very satisfied that my car can have this level of power consumption.
But it may have something to do with my "Buddhist" style of driving. What I mean by "Buddhist style" doesn't mean that I drive very slowly on the road. When I drive in a smooth situation in front of me, I always press forward. When running at a limited speed, I just like to accelerate and decelerate calmly and evenly. I think with my driving method, the battery life of 150 kilometers in pure electric mode is no problem.
Returning the car
After completing the handover procedures with the ideal staff, I reluctantly said goodbye to it.

In fact, the moment I returned to the company and got into my car, I felt like I had traveled back in time from the future.
The Camry that has been with me for many years is very comfortable and has never had any malfunctions in ten years and 130,000 kilometers.
But its personality is determined the moment it is born, and you have to slowly adapt to it as you get along with it.
The character of the ideal ONE is not static. It slowly adapts to you through OTA to meet your more and more needs. This may be the progress brought by technology.
This three-day experience gave me a period of calm and rational thinking while my wife agreed to change the car.
But after three days of carefully tasting Ideal?ONE?, it was still the same as I imagined, and even gave me more surprises.
