Loyalty, faithfulness and respect are highly generalized and abstract moral concepts. With the accumulation of tens of millions of history and culture, they have the following meanings:

Loyalty: It means loyalty, disloyalty, dedication and selflessness.

Faith: It means honesty, no deception, morality and truth.

The logo organically combines letters with Chinese, with strong readability, clear views, smooth lines and balanced fate. The standard color is the color of nature: blue-green, which means that Jinan University is still full of vitality after a hundred years; Generally speaking, it is more harmonious, unified and calm, which is in line with Jinan University's academic style of loyalty, sincerity, long history, rigor and liveliness. The first school song of Jinan University was the school song when it was founded. Published in Jinan Yearbook published by 1929, the lyrics emphasize "swearing to the death for the motherland's powerful sea power" and "arousing overseas Chinese to change their souls". The second school song has not been published in the school magazine. According to the memory of old alumni, the school once used Ode to Confucius as its school song.
