What's the difference between a cableway and a cable car?

The answer is as follows:

Cableway, as its name implies, is an overhead transportation equipment with steel cable as its track. The cable car crosses the rails on the ground and is pulled by steel cables. The box is like a van that we run on land, so it is called a cable car. The cableway runs at high altitude, and the cable car runs on the ground hillside.

ropeway

Cableway, also known as crane, cable car and floating cage (cable car can also be referred to as cableway), is a kind of means of transportation, which usually carries passengers or goods up and down hills on rugged slopes. Cableway uses steel cables suspended in mid-air to support and tow passenger cars or trucks. Except for the station, a steel cable bracket is usually supported at intervals in the middle of the building. Some ropeways use cranes suspended under steel cables; There are also ropeways with or without cranes, and passengers sit in open-air hanging chairs. Cableways with hanging chairs are most common in ski resorts.

1, exploring the laws of things. Biography of the History of the Song Dynasty: "Zhang Boxue learned Confucian classics, especially Yi, Tai Xuan and Fa Yin. He used ropeway to understand the Ming Dynasty and knew how to use numbers to teach Taoism."

? 2. Elevated passage pulled by steel cable. Ba Jin's Sardinia III: "He left early this morning. He went by box and cableway. " The first chapter of Du Pengcheng's On a Peaceful Day: "There are cobweb-like aerial ropeways in the sky, and countless boats carrying things drift on the river." [ 1]

kind

According to the methods of support and traction, ropeways can be divided into two types:

Single line type

Support the weight of the crane with steel cables, and tow the crane or hanging chair.

Double-line type

Use multiple steel cables. One or two cables used to support the weight of the crane will not move, and the other cables are responsible for pulling the crane.

Table tennis

There is only one pair of cranes on the ropeway. When one of them goes up the hill, the other goes down the hill. When the two cars arrived at the station, they walked in opposite directions. This ropeway is called aerial cable car. Reciprocating cranes generally carry a large number of passengers, each of which can reach 100, with strong climbing ability and good wind resistance. The speed of the reciprocating ropeway can reach 8 meters per second.

circular form

There will be many cranes on the ropeway, and the cable will be pulled by an annular iron ring, which is sleeved on the driving wheels and roundabout wheels at both ends. When the crane or hanging chair reaches the end point from the starting point, it returns to the starting point through the roundabout wheel for circulation. Taipei Maokong Cable Car is a kind of circulating crane. The circulating crane is called the hanging basket crane.

Fixed rope-holding type

Cranes or hanging chairs will not let go of cables during normal operation, so all cranes on the same cable will have the same speed. The cranes of some fixed cable-stayed ropeways are evenly distributed on the whole cable, and the cable travels at a fixed speed. This design is the simplest, but the disadvantage is that the speed can't be too fast (usually about one meter per second), otherwise it will be difficult for passengers to get on and off. Some fixed ropeways adopt pulse design, and the cranes are divided into 4, 6 or 8 groups, each group consists of 3 to 4 cars, and the distance between groups is the same. The same group of cranes get on and off passengers at the station at the same time. When a group of cranes are in the station, the wire rope and each group of trolleys decelerate at the same time. After the crane left the station, they accelerated together. This ropeway runs at a high speed (0.4 meters per second inside the station and about 4 meters per second outside the station), which is convenient for passengers to get on and off, but the distance should not be too long and the carrying capacity is limited.

Separated type

Also known as "off-hook". Fix the crane on the taut steel cable with spring-controlled pliers. When the crane arrives at the station, the clamp holding the cable will be loosened, and passengers will get on and off after the crane slows down. Before leaving the station, the crane will mechanically accelerate to the same speed as the cable, and the tongs on the crane will clamp the cable again and leave circularly. This ropeway is slow (6 meters per second outside the station), but it has a large carrying capacity.

Homework help, have you ever been to Xiangshan? Have you ever been on a cableway? It would be a pity if you went to Beijing instead of Xiangshan.

On July 1 1 day, my family went to Xiangshan for a long time.

This afternoon, we arrived at Xiangshan, and along the way, we saw a bustling scene: business started, business flourished, people came and went, and it was very lively.

We walked into the gate of Xiangshan Park and saw a steel cable hanging in the air.

This is the Xiangshan cableway.

Because it was the first time to see it, I felt very fresh and interesting, so I ran there in three steps and two steps, queued up to buy tickets and entered the platform with my parents.

When I raised my eyes, I saw a pair of chairs hanging high on the chain. At first glance, it's really scary.

The people in front were sitting in double chairs, and the double chairs staggered them up.

At this time, I want to go up, but I dare not.

My mother encouraged me to say, "Don't be afraid, be brave!" " Aren't others safe and sound? "With my mother's encouragement, I sat in a double chair with her with curiosity.

The double chair rises slowly along the slope, and I feel that there are fifteen buckets in my heart.

Suddenly, the chair shook a few times and made a "bang …" sound, which scared me. I don't know what happened.

After a while, the chair made a "hook …" sound and shook it a few times.

I dared to look inside, only to find that the sound was made by the collision and friction between the double chair and the gear after passing through the bracket.

I breathed a sigh of relief after the false alarm.

Suddenly, the chair creaked again, and my heart beat in my throat, as if I were about to jump out.

Looking around, it turned out that someone else's chair passed through the aftershock of the bracket.

I finally breathed a sigh of relief, but I didn't dare to look down. I just want to get to incense burner peak quickly.

When we arrived at the incense burner peak, we played on it for a while, and then took the cableway down the mountain.

This time, I have a bottom in my heart. I am no longer afraid. I am enjoying the beautiful scenery.

I saw Gu Song Cooper everywhere, covering the sky. I heard that even in dog days, you won't sweat when you walk here. It is really a summer resort! You can also see the red leaves of Xiangshan on the ropeway.

I'm sorry we came at a bad time. Dad said that when we come here in autumn, we can see the beautiful scenery like maple leaves.

On the ropeway, you can also enjoy the whole picture of Beijing in summer.

I saw lush trees, full of green, the "four modernizations" of the motherland is not like the glory of thousands of trees. The ropeway I took was the first one built by myself in China. 1983 completed, 1985 officially put into use.

We were really lucky to catch up with the good times.

The upper and lower horizontal lines are1273m, and the height difference is 43 1 m..

On such a steep mountain, it shows that this is a magnificent project.

"Look!" My mother pointed to Kunming Lake and said to me.

I looked up and saw that the Kunming Lake, which had a certain charm, was just a basin of clear water, shining in the sun.

Buddha Pavilion and Paiyun Hall became bonsai, White Pagoda and Yuquan Pagoda became small crafts, and Biyun Temple became gadgets.

The whole city of Beijing seems to be a famous landscape painting in front of us.

"Smile!" Dad said to us, "Click!" Dad photographed the prosperous and ever-changing scenery of ancient Beijing and the motherland, and the photos also recorded the joy of our family riding the cableway.

A brief comment on writing an article requires not only knowing what to write, but also knowing what not to write. For the other parts of the trip to Xiangshan, the little author is either brief or omitted.

The full text is only a detailed description of taking the cableway, because the cableway is a new thing and is the interest of young friends, and the scenery in this section, such as the panoramic view of thousands of miles of mountains and rivers, Xiangshan and even Beijing, has a panoramic view.

There is a slight change in details. Take the cableway up the mountain, only write about freshness and timidity, and write about the scenery in the downhill part, without repeating it before and after.

The composition of Chongqing Yangtze River cableway Today, my mother and I went to take the Yangtze River cableway.

I've never been on a cableway, and I'm a little nervous.

We bought tickets and took the elevator to the platform.

I saw that the two platforms of the ropeway are located on both sides of the Yangtze River, one on Shangxin Street on the south bank and the other on Xinhua Road in Jiefang North.

There are many thick steel cable connections between the two platforms.

There are two red rectangular carriages hanging on the steel cable.

At this time, a carriage came slowly towards us, and the carriage was full of passengers.

At the station, the passengers got off in turn.

It's our turn to get on the bus. I found a seat and sat down.

After a while, the ropeway started.

I saw the scenery outside through the window.

The warm sunshine shines on the Yangtze River, and there are sparkling ripples on the water, which is very beautiful.

Many big ships dock on both sides of the Yangtze River.

There are several ships sailing on the rough waves.

I also saw some people sitting on rubber boats and fishing leisurely.

The ropeway quickly sailed to the other side, but it was smooth, and I felt that I was not afraid at all.

At this time, I saw many buildings, tall and short, dense.

The cableway rose gradually and finally stopped at the platform.

We got out of the car, took the elevator, and then walked out of the platform to the bustling Jie Fangbei.

The ropeway is amazing. It took us less than five minutes to cross the Yangtze River, which is much faster than taking a bus or a ship.

I want to take the cableway again next time!

Middle school students take the Songshan Shaolin cableway for the first time. I went to Songshan and Shaolin Temple on June 10 last year. Answer: 1. Shaolin Temple is in Shaoshi Mountain, Songshan Mountain. You can go to Songshan to visit Shaolin Temple. San huang Zhai is far from Shaolin Temple.

But Shaolin Temple is very close to the cableway from san huang Zhai.

After coming down from the ropeway, there is still a considerable distance from San Huang Zhai. 3. correct.

Be sure to take the cableway at san huang Zhai first, or there will be no queue on the cableway after visiting Shaolin Temple (there was no one on the cableway when we took it, and we had been waiting in line for hours when we went down the mountain). I think one day is enough.

I suggest taking a cableway and climbing Songshan Mountain for a while. Don't go to san huang. When we went there, only five or six people climbed to the end. As a result, we regret that Sanhuangzhai has nothing and is being repaired.

Just walk to the plank road.

I think the cableway in Huang Zhai is worth it, and the scenery is beautiful.

My hobbies are climbing mountains and writing compositions. 1200 During the National Day, our family went to Mingyue Mountain in Jiangxi.

There are many tourists, and people are buzzing everywhere.

Climb the mountain along the path.

There is a stream by the roadside, and the stream is crystal clear.

After walking for more than an hour, we arrived at Yungu Waterfall.

My legs are sore, so I sit down, rest and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Yungu Waterfall is the best place in Mingyue Mountain.

The stream flew down from the top of the cliff, forming a series of waterfall wonders.

Water meets rocks on the road, and some of them turn into steam.

The air is filled with water mist, as if covered with a mysterious veil.

Continue to climb, the mountain is steep, and the slope of the steps is very large, almost vertical.

This is the steepest step of the whole mountain, winding with no end in sight, which makes people feel scared and weak.

There seems to be no end to the steps, and there is still a way to climb.

The stream on the side of the road runs down tirelessly.

Man struggles upwards, but water flows downwards.

I want to secretly cheer myself up.

Finally, we came to the middle station of the cableway, bought three tickets and planned to go down the mountain by cable car.

There are too many people in the queue to get on for three or four hours! Upon inquiry, there are very few people standing on the ropeway, so there is no need to queue up.

We take back the tickets and move on.

Now, my legs are shaking.

I worked harder for my poor leg and moved forward slowly.

The slope here is gentle, which is easier to walk than the steep mountain road below.

There are dense forests on both sides and winding paths at the foot.

My feet are almost numb, but I keep walking.

After climbing for more than an hour, the top of the mountain arrived and the station on the ropeway arrived.

We bought three tickets to go down the mountain.

Sitting on the cable car, I looked at the magnificent scenery below and recalled the hardships along the way. I can't help but sigh: people are taller than mountains and feet are longer than roads!

Write Taishan's composition. I will give you these in about 200 words for your reference! I don't advocate your plagiarism. You are sure to write a good article. Wish you success! Last summer vacation, I was lucky enough to visit Mount Tai, the first of the five famous mountains at home and abroad.

At noon on August 1 1, our family went to Taishan by bus with a happy mood.

There is more than one Mount Tai. The peaks, large and small, are connected together, high and low, wide and narrow. There are countless grotesque stones on the peak, and some small trees are growing in the gaps. From a distance, the mountains are green.

The highest peak on Mount Tai is 1524 meters, with a minimum of more than 600 meters, with a width of several hundred kilometers and a narrow width of several hundred meters.

The top of the mountain is shrouded in clouds and looks like it is looming.

There are many precious medicinal materials on the mountain, including Ganoderma lucidum, Coptis chinensis, Ginseng and so on.

There are more than 20 ancient buildings and more than 2,000 historical and cultural relics on the mountain.

Soon, our car arrived at the foot of Mount Tai. After driving on Panshan Highway for 10 minutes, we arrived at the "Taishan Cableway".

We got off and got on the ropeway.

Along the way, we saw trees and flowers all over the mountain, including red, yellow and blue ... especially bright in the sun.

Under the cable car, a waterfall flows from the mountain to the small pool below. The water in the small pool is not deep and crystal clear, and a layer of fine sand can be seen at the bottom of the pool! When you get off the cable car, you will find the "Southern Gate". Take a closer look, this "Nantianmen" looks like the gate of the Forbidden City in Beijing, and it is magnificent.

It is inlaid with three gold characters: Nantianmen, and a pair of gold couplets on a blue background on the left and right.

The stone steps below the worse gate are eighteen pots, which is the most dangerous section of the mountain climbing road.

From bottom to top, it looks like a steep "ladder".

After reading 18 pot, we walked on, crossed the worse gate and came to a huge stone with the word "Taishan" engraved on it.

There, you can feel the oncoming clouds, and the surrounding prosperity is like a mirror of a fairyland on earth, which makes people linger.

We walked on and reached the bell tower.

There is a huge clock in the bell tower. It is said that a rich man made a wish on Mount Tai, and his wish came true.

So he built a bell tower here.

This is where the New Year bell rings this year.

Out of the bell tower, we set out for the Jade Emperor's Peak.

Walking, I came to two tall stone tablets.

These two stone tablets are each more than ten meters high and several meters wide.

The inscription of many famous people is Mount Tai.

The other one records the great achievements of emperors in past dynasties, and the title is Heaven and Earth.

Further on, it is the Jade Emperor Peak. There is a Jade Emperor Temple on Jade Emperor Peak. In front of the temple is a stone engraved with the words "Five Mountains alone". The word red is profound and powerful, giving people a heroic feeling.

After visiting the Jade Emperor Temple, we went back the same way and took the cable car down the mountain.

The beautiful scenery of Mount Tai is desirable and admirable, and it really deserves to be the first of the five mountains.

How I hope to visit again in the future. It's like Mount Tai in a fairyland on earth!

Visiting Hengshan College Composition (400) [Happy Holiday Composition 600 words] During the May Day holiday, my parents took me to visit Qixingtai tourist area in Zhangqiu. Happy holiday composition 600 words. The scenery there is very good and the air is very fresh. We all had a good time. When we drove there, we crossed the winding S-shaped mountain road and passed a big reservoir. The name of the reservoir is Shuishuiduozhuang Reservoir. This is the local drinking water source. Passing through the reservoir and several mountains, we finally arrived at Qixingtai tourist scenic spot. First, we took a special bus from the scenic spot to the first stop, Seiryuji. We just read the introduction and left. We then went to the second stop, fairyland on earth. We walked along the stone steps, thinking that we would reach Yaochi, but it was too far, so we went back. We went to the third scenic spot, Qi Great Wall, by bus. It was very beautiful. It took us a long time to walk from the beginning to the end. It was noon. We ate instant noodles and walked on. We passed a high magpie bridge and walked a mountain road. We came to the ropeway, a 600-word composition for a happy holiday in the fifth grade of primary school. We got on the ropeway. At first, I was scared. After a while, I found that the ropeway was very stable, so I was relieved. I looked down. Below is a piece of green, with terraces and winding rivers! I feel much more relaxed. After getting off the ropeway, we got on the bus and went back to the entrance. We drove to Zhu Jiayu Scenic Area. It is said that Zhu Jiayu is an ancient mountain village. We went to our old school. First of all, we saw the long school motto written on the screen. Then there are connected small yards, all of which are former adobe houses. Said it was school, but there were some things before. It smells like an exhibition hall. For the first time, I learned about the production tools used for farming, such as plows, hoes and dustpans, and spinning wheels. Besides, I saw an old woman weaving with an old loom. The shuttle used for weaving is smooth and busy. We went outside again, took photos and went back. This time, I had a meaningful holiday. Grade 5, Daguan Primary School, Qingcheng District, Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province: Guo Haonan

This summer vacation, my parents and I went to Xi and Luoyang. We visited the Terracotta Warriors, Kaifengfu, Huaqing Pool, Songshan Shaolin Temple and climbed Huashan Mountain. "Huashan Road from ancient times" is the danger of Huashan Mountain. When the bus took us to the foot of the mountain, we had to change to a minibus to go up the mountain. The mountain road twists and turns, and a cliff stands on one side. If the car is not careful, it will fall into the abyss. Along the way, I held my mother's hand tightly and my heart was in my throat. Fortunately, the uncle who drove the car was good at driving and sent us to the ropeway station safely. We got on the cable car, which took us into mid-air. Aunt guide said, "This is the longest ropeway in Asia, with a drop of 750 meters." I boldly looked down, and there was an abyss below. At this time, the path of "Yang Zhi takes Huashan" is like a snake. I looked around again and looked up. It seemed that Huashan was covered with snow, because the most trees on Huashan were white steep cliffs. The cable car took us halfway up the mountain. The climb began. Aunt tour guide said: "Huashan has five main peaks: East, West, South, North and Middle. As long as the son is willing to climb, dad is ready to the end. " Our family set off armed to the teeth. We climbed the chain on the stone ladder, climbed the tumbling Wu Yunfeng, climbed the dangerous turtle back stone, and came to Heilongling. Black Dragon Ridge is like a dragon's back. An extremely steep stone ladder extends upward, with misty cliffs on both sides. When you look after it, your legs and stomach will tremble with fear. Mom climbed a few steps. I quit. Despite all the difficulties, my father and I kept going. I climbed the chain and squatted on the stone stairs like a dog, looking at the high Xifeng, stepping on the stone steps step by step and moving forward step by step. There is only one thought in my heart: I must climb Xifeng and conquer Huashan! I don't know how long I climbed and how much I sweated, and finally I broke through the gate of hell-Heilongling. My father and I had a rest and climbed Xifeng with all our strength. The west peak of Huashan Mountain is so beautiful! I came to the top of the cloud, and all those ugly peaks on the way to the mountain became dwarfs in the fog. The breeze is really refreshing. Birds are playing wonderful music with some unknown insects, and suddenly a little squirrel jumps over the forest ... Dad says, "Infinite scenery is on the dangerous peak!" " I said, "How can I see a rainbow without experiencing wind and rain?" Summer vacation tourism not only broadens our horizons, increases our knowledge, but also exercises our will. I like traveling.

Write the composition of Sanqingshan. It is a good time for tourism to describe Sanqingshan Year.

No, my parents and I climbed Sanqingshan, which is "not Huangshan, but better than Huangshan".

Below is the winding mountain road. We bumped all the way by car and finally came to Sanqingshan.

When I came to the front of the mountain, I couldn't help but be shocked: the peaks went straight into the sky, which was daunting.

Because there is no road in the middle, we have to go through the clouds, so we have to take the cableway.

On the ropeway, I can't help but be afraid: if the ropeway is unstable, won't we fall, and then we'll all be gone? The more I think about it, the more I get scared. Coupled with the threat of dozens of cliffs below, my legs are weak and my limbs are weak.

My father seems to have noticed my strangeness and encouraged me. After listening to my father's words, I was full of confidence and found my brave self: a little climber who was not even afraid of Huangshan Mountain.

Holding back my initial fear, I was far ahead, jumping two steps at a time, and then shouting at the foot of the mountain: "Hurry up!" " ! ! "Take a break, wait for them to get up slowly, make a face, Doby them. Oh, don't mention how cool it is! In Sanqingshan, the most * * * is the high-altitude plank road! The plank road there seems to appear on the edge of Moganshan Road Primary School out of thin air, which is a good time to travel.

When I went today, the fog was still very thick, and the milky fog made people think.

Walking in the fog is like walking in a fairyland.

This fog makes everything so hazy, making people feel real and unreal. I like this beauty very much.

Of course, the most beautiful thing is then! It's time for the sun to shine on Sanqing Mountain and dispel the fog.

Glass plank road Last summer vacation, I was lucky enough to go to Zhangjiajie with my menstruation.

Zhangjiajie has many classic scenic spots. The scenery is strange and beautiful. What impressed me the most was the glass plank road in Tianmen Mountain.

This is a very thrilling cliff glass plank road.

The plank road was built between Yunmeng Xianding and a red pavilion on the Shanxi line.

It is 60m long, 4m wide and1430m above sea level.

Standing here is like being in a city in the sky.

My cousin and I are too bold to scare us.

However, when we want to go up, we hesitate and dare not take the first step. This thing has seriously tested our psychological quality! We encouraged each other and got up the courage. My cousin was in the front, I was in the middle, and my cousin finally, after walking in fear for a while, finally overcame her fear and left freely.

At this time, we looked up at the infinite scenery in the distance and looked down at the abyss under our feet through the glass, just like a fairyland.

Peer tourists also come to experience the pleasure of walking the glass plank road step by step.

They have different expressions, some crying, some laughing, some stiff expressions, some relaxed, and that heroic sense of superiority arises in our hearts! Interpretation of the glass plank road ① The glass plank road is a suspended transparent glass plank road formed by overhead toughened glass on cliffs. The safety factor of toughened glass load of glass plank road is equivalent to that of traditional reinforced concrete, so tourists no longer have to worry about safety, which is also the basis of commercialization of glass plank road.

② Since the Baishishan glass plank road was full overnight and the scenic spot became famous in World War I, the glass plank road scenic spots all over the country have mushroomed and become one of the favorite tourist projects of China tourists. The most representative is the Baishishan glass plank road, which is located in Baishishan Scenic Area, south of Laiyuan County, Baoding/0/5km away. It is the longest and widest glass plank road with the highest altitude, the safest pressure in China. The total length is about 95 meters, the width is 2 meters, and the altitude is as high as 1900 meters. Baishishan glass plank road is a concrete frame structure. The 3.2-cm-thick double-layer laminated glass is ingeniously combined with stainless steel dragon skeleton, bearing 1000 kg per square meter, [1] which brings different experiences to tourists while ensuring safety.

Geographical location: The glass plank road is located at the cliff plank road 1.5km from Baishilang Shuangxiong Stone to Feiyunkou in Baishishan Scenic Area of World Geopark and National Forest Park.

Baishishan glass plank road is 96m long, 2m wide and1900m above sea level. It is the longest, widest and tallest glass plank road in China.

The glass plank road is a concrete frame structure, and the 3.2 cm thick double-layer laminated glass is ingeniously combined with the stainless steel dragon skeleton, with a bearing capacity of 1000kg per square meter, which ensures safety and brings different experiences to tourists.

The scenic spot requires that in order to let tourists see the beautiful scenery through the glass bridge flawless, the tourists on the bridge are required to wear shoe covers to keep the glass bridge transparent and clean.

Walking in the air, stepping on the white clouds, walking on the clouds, let you feel the magic of 10,000 meters soaring, and you can see all the valleys.
