"East Gengdao, West Gengdao, Wangfuchi Erlang Temple" is a well-known ballad in old Jinan, referring to four streets in old Jinan, but the origin of this ballad is almost unknown. The names of these streets are formed early and late. Donggeng Road, Xiguang Road and Erlangmiao Street were marked in the Street Map of the Province in the 28th year of Guangxu (1902), but only Wangfuchi (Meng Yingquan) was marked in this map, and the location of Wangfuchi Street was marked as "Jia Wei Hutong", which is the earliest record. It can be seen that the name "Wangfuchi Street" first appeared in the 1930s, and the ballad "Donggeng Road, Xiguang Road and Wangfuchi Erlang Temple" should have been circulated during this period or later.
