It is said that Hakka women are capable, and my mother is a typical Hakka woman: diligent, hardworking and well-managed. From childhood, my mother is a "busy person", busy all day and in a state of constant tension.

Even now, every time I go back to my mother's house, I see her busy figure: busy taking care of my father who had a stroke, busy preparing a big table of food for us, thinking about my small vegetable garden and those chickens who laid eggs.

My mother had to finish primary school because of her livelihood, but the wealth a mother gives her children is not necessarily proportional to her education level. She seldom preaches, but one sentence impressed me deeply: "People are the most diligent, have hands and feet, and will not starve to death." This sentence is quite simple, so simple that it is easy to be ignored, but it always gives me strength when I am confused. As long as I am willing to work hard, it will always pay off.

I am a mother of two children now, and life is much easier than my mother's. I will seriously be a "mother" and enjoy "poetry and distance" in the process of raising children.
